Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Go to
Appearance –> FT Options
and then click on BASIC SETTINGS tab,
UPLOAD a logo and then the TEXT will disappear.
We’ll get this fixed in the next release.

The issues which you are facing are either because of Custom coding or plugins.
Theme is a standard WP theme and doesn’t have any issues.

We’ll surely consider this and implement the control for color in the theme options in future releases.
As far as header height is concerned, it’s not fixed, it’s Auto.
