    Jetpack Comments used to work but seems to have stopped working following a WordPress update. Now the comments only works from the computer I am using to administer my website. When I try posting comments from other computers usually one of two things happens.

    1) A submitting message appears, flashes, and disappears without leaving comment.

    2) I get a white screen.

    When I disable all plugins except Jetpack the comments do not work.

    When I enable all plugins except for Jetpack the comments do work.

    I discovered the problem after users told me they could not leave comments.

    I am using RedPro Child Theme.

    My site is TypeAPoem.com

    I currently added a contact form on the front page to allow visitors to communicate with me. The comment box is temporarily at the bottom of the site’s pages.

    Sorry to hear that.
    The issues which you are facing are either because of Custom coding or plugins.
    Theme is a standard WP theme and doesn’t have any issues.
    I hope you understand.

    As stated above, I am using RedPro… You mean this is a standard WP theme??

    As stated above, comments work when ALL Plugins are ENABLED except for Jetpack but fails when Jetpack is enabled without the plugins…

    Oh…

    I forgot, I do have the following code

    #follow_us h6, .footer ul
    {
    display:none !important;
    }

    however, comments were working with that tidbit there before and in fact stopped working long after the code was added. Loss of comments occurred after a WP update…
