I flagged it to the developers, seems to be an approach they needed to push in order to better the custom types search results, yet I prefer using Relevanssi, glad this was resolved 🙂
Issue was resolved by Mikko, root cause identified due to the theme’s search parameter that changed to a different non-common term.
Thank you Mikko.
Awesome, by the way, I ended up buying the Pro version, you should seriously advertise it more, it has much more interesting features, thought it can fix my issue but helas.
Will email you right away with the credentials, thank you Mikko
Just a headsup, I tested the old Relevanssi Version 3.0.3 on the new theme install while on WP 3.5, and it seems to be doing the same thing, keywords pulled no matter what category it was under.
Now I’m wondering if its a theme/plugin compatibility issue since Relevanssi’s version is the same one as on the legacy site where it worked great, I dont think I’ll be upgrading it at all since its working great as is.
If possible, I can provide you the admin access to take a look, its a test site, so there’s no harm in modifying things around.
Thanks for following up Mikko,
I tried the Deact and Delete, yet the same issue persists, the input for the Category is a Dropdown field, nothing special, same as the other site since I’m using the same theme but a newer version on a WP 3.5 installation. For some reason, its completely ignoring the Category filtering, yet the keywords are pulled correctly, I disabled a built-in Search filter option associated to the custom taxonomies, something new that didnt exist in the previous version of the theme, still no luck.
What exactly changed as of 3.1.3 when it comes to the Categories?

In reply to: [Adminimize] Super Admin is affected upon restrictionsHi Frank,
I had already tried what you’re suggesting, I had created a new role using Members and named it Admin-sub, I associated few Edit and Write rules limited to what he was supposed to have access to, but once logged in to the backend, he still had access to the rest of the WP Dashboard panel.I think the issue here is that I am not using a Multisite installation and yet just one regular WP install, could that be it?

In reply to: [Smart YouTube PRO] Use in Custom FieldsMe too I’m looking for a solution since most smart themes nowadays use custom taxonomies and custom fields.

In reply to: [jQuery Colorbox] Images display darker with JQuery colorboxI would say average dimension sizes of the images are 1000 in width and 900 in height, I think I had the Media gallery set too high and hence why it was acting weird on the compression level, now that I reduced it to a more reasonable settings, the images kept their original tone, let’s say this is resolved for now 🙂

In reply to: [jQuery Colorbox] Images display darker with JQuery colorboxFunny enough, if I set the Media gallery to lower display dimensions (1200 x 1000) the quality of the images remains intact but we obviously loose the full dimensions as they get re-sized, its only when I had the Image gallery previously set to 1900 x 1200 that I noticed a darker tone in the images, does this even make sense to you?
Reason why the Media gallery is set so high is due to High resolution uploaded images, I figured that by setting the Media gallery as high as reasonably possible, it would maintain the quality of the images.
What I’m also wondering is that if the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails has anything to do with this.
Same here, +1 for masking referrer info on outgoing mail to users.
I also noticed that the plugin is no longer available on their site nor within the Plugins list.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SEO Slugs] [Plugin: SEO Slugs] Not happeningUnderstood, no worries, I just hope this issue will be brought up an enough amount of times to maybe consider a workaround, I appreciate your effort in looking into it though, thank you Litso.

In reply to: [SEO Slugs] [Plugin: SEO Slugs] Not happeningListo, let me rephrase this to make it more realistic and fair: The way my blog works is based on front end user submissions using the GF plugin and the submissions are set to automatically get published, so the post is not even being reviewed prior to being published given the trusted members.
I’m assuming that this might have to do with the slugs not being filtered, unless your plugin is supposed to handle this request no matter the status of the post “Published” vs “Pending Review”?
If it can handle the automatically published posts, then yes the plugin is not working, if not, then my mistake, in that case, any workaround to apply it on front end submitted posts?
Forgot to close this thread since it was resolved, thank you once again Peter.
I just saw this! lol super nice add-on, thanks again Peter 🙂
Peter, the issue was isolated and fixed, it was linked to a setting that was enabled in the Transposh plugin (translate Permalinks/urls) which seem to have kicked in after the latest update or was caused previously by turn off/on by myself, bottom line, the developer of Transposh was able to troubleshoot and debug the root cause, the site and the relative posts are back in the top ranking and we are back in business as usual, AND I learned my lesson, so thank you for your feedback and support.
P.S.: Would be nice to see AIOSEO allowing multiple Google+ Author integration when the site has multiple authors, specially since AIOSEO is compatible with custom post types 🙂
