In reply to: dsIDXpress broken in MUWell, tech support sent me running on a wild goose chase. It turns out the issue was a simple plugin conflict with http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-post-tabs/
I zapped that plugin and my problems disappeared.
Yes. I was stupid but let me explain why. The plugin only caused a conflict on some of my sites and then only in some places. So it took me a couple of weeks to know there was a problem. By then I had confidence in the new plugins so I didn’t suspect them.
I’m a bit ticked at Diverse Solutions technical support because they didn’t figure this out and because it took so long chasing in the wrong direction to figure out what happened.
I’m still looking for a good plugin to handle tabs. Originally I’d written my own code, but I wasn’t delighted with how that looked so I started experimenting with plugins. I really like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-ui/ but it only functions reliably on the primary site. I have no idea why and I’ve not gotten an responses from posts elsewhere about this problem.

In reply to: dsIDXpress broken in MUI think so. I have about 100 different domains. Of those domains about a dozen have licensed this product. My primary domain is working fine. The others are broken. Tech support is useless because not one of them can code. The programmers don’t interface well with tech support and I can’t access the programmers.
But my guess is they want to by-pass their normal verifications and just call the data through my primary site.
I’m running WP MU and it only works on the primary site and there only in the posts and not in the tabs.

In reply to: Bizarre background-image bug in themeI’m going to crawl back into my hole now, but all I can say for the next guy. Here’s how I solved:
I “desaturated” image and posted it back. Before that anytime I attempted to change the image, the code was broken. I have no idea how this could happen, but I today I saw bigfoot flying his UFO through my code.

In reply to: Bizarre background-image bug in themeUnreal.
I desaturated the image and reposted. Now with no color there is no error.
So I went really adventurous and put a little hint of color back in the image. No error.
I’m I going crazy or is it even possible for an image color to break code?!

In reply to: Bizarre background-image bug in theme@plugins …
Yes. I tried all that yesterday when I first started having problems.
The other bizarre thing is that I don’t have this problem on other domains. Just this domain. http://mount-vernon-homes.com
I though made it had something to do with they hyphens so as part of my troubleshoot yesterday I tried a filename with no hyphens. Made no difference.

In reply to: Bizarre background-image bug in themeI don’t know “safe CSS”. Tried searching and couldn’t find.
What’s bizarre about this is that if I change the image—meaning alter the image—I get the script error. I can change the image name to anything I like, so long as it is the exact same image it will not report an error. If I change the actual image itself, green to maroon, green to grey, then I get the error.
I though the images were totally self-contained and can’t image how on Earth it could ever begin to cause this quirky problem.

In reply to: Bizarre background-image bug in themeThat was the first think I checked. Made no difference.

In reply to: [Simple Real Estate Pack] Fatal Error during upgradeI’ve got a virtual dedicated server at Godaddy. Are there security risks to enabling this functionality?
Great tip. I’ll try that. Thanks!

In reply to: [Simple Real Estate Pack] Fatal Error during upgradeI was checking to see if the upgrade worked.
I looked here:
http://mount-vernon-homes.com/welcome/mount-vernon-va/And see no businesses.
So for the heck of it, I made a new post:
http://mount-vernon-homes.com/2011/07/15/grocery-stores/
Exact same location … but it doesn’t work.
To answer your question, this shortcode:
[schoolsearch city=”Mount Vernon” state=”VA” zip=”22309″ groupby=”gradelevel” output=”table”]
Gets me this result:
http://mount-vernon-homes.com/schools-mount-vernon/
Warning: curl_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /var/www/vhosts/nesbittrealty.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/simple-real-estate-pack-4/includes/srp-functions.php on line 385
Something went wrong. No data is being returned from education.com.There are no schools within 3 miles radius of this location.
