In reply to: blogger nightmares – trying to importUpdate: used Andy Skelton’s updated import-blogger.php script, and it works beautifully. (See time difference between my previous post and this one to see how long it took from downloading to deleting old Blogger files). It is definitely the only way to do it – however, use my tip above; Blogger tried to tell me some kind of ‘engineer’ was on the case when it crashed trying to republish. Signing in and out works fine.
Thanks Andy !

In reply to: blogger nightmares – trying to importI had the same problem with Blogger not republishing my files, also getting stuck on 28%. Eventually, I found the best way of getting round it was to log in, republish the blog, let it get stuck ay 28%, immediately sign out, sign back in again, and everything worked fine. Don’t ask why this should work.
I was saying a lot worse than “bloody hell” at the time.

In reply to: reBlog Plugin Problemphej, I was banging my head for ages too. Finally, I realised the folder in the package I downloaded from reBlog has 3 folders: wp, mt, and refeed. You need to go to the refeed folder and follow the (not so easy as they make out) instructions. THEN you need to get the output rss feed address, and THEN hit ‘fetch reBlog’ from within WordPress. Why the hell they couldn’t tell you that you need to install refeed as well, I don’t know…
