The excerpt code is stopping prematurely so it’s cutting your code short before it closes. Try increasing your excerpt length.

In your code if you view the source it goes like this.

  <li>
   <a>
    <h3></h3>
    <script></script>
    <div>
    <object>
    <param>
     .... and this is where it gets cut off and the next tile starts....

You need the tags to close before the next tiles tarts otherwise it places the next tile inside the previous tile so on and so forth.

Post Tiles pulls in the first couple lines of text in a post unless the user defines an alternate excerpt text. Try going back into those posts and adding Excerpt text which describe the video. See if that helps.

You should be able to edit line 379 which looks like this.

$the_query = $posts_query.$cat_query.'&paged='.$paged;

And replace it with this

$the_query = $posts_query.$cat_query.'&paged='.$paged.'&orderby=rand';

Keep a note of what you modify in the plugin because these changes will be overwritten once you update the plugin.

hm… It probably could work. I haven’t used lightbox in years. I’ve thought about adding that as a possible feature down the road. You should be able to add lightbox and then have it target the anchors in the tiles since there are classes etc.

Not at the moment. I’ve thought about adding some type of alternate vies which allow for the titles to appear before the hover but it’s not as high up as other things that should be worked on at the moment.

You might be able to achieve it with some custom css. Though you also might have to update the front-end.js file.

It looks like your posts is wrapped in a Bold Tag <strong>. This sometimes happens when people copy and paste the short code from the demo page and past it into a page. It carries over the styling too. On the page switch to the HTML no Visual view and make sure the shortage isn’t bolded.
