First of all, thanks for the help! At first everything seemed like it was going to be fine, but now I’ve got more problems.
After attempting to create a new database, delete the old one, and use phpmyadmin to get my site back (failed, instructions not simple enough for my brain), I may have screwed things up further. Both databases are now deleted. So I went to uninstall wordpress as an app and just reinstall it again, which has created a new database (what I did in the first place at the beginning, which worked fine). Problem: when I visit the site to edit/login/you know, I get nothing (site does not exist). Same for the old url. What’s this all about?
