In reply to: Error message: Could not resolve hostThank you. I’ve been slowing down and reading these things. Everything seems to be going better. Now when I click Dashboard or Visit site it brings me to a Blue Host page. So I think thats better. I read in Configuring Wildcard Subdomains to Make sure to point this at the same folder location where your wp-config.php file is located. How do I do that?

In reply to: Error message: Could not resolve hostI did not. I can add the subdomain. What should I put for Document Root /public_html/ -leave it blank ? Sorry im such a newbie with all this. I never used Multi Site before or ran into problems like this.

In reply to: Existing WordPress Network detectedI have. I reinstalled WordPress and reinstalled MultiSite. Although now I have two websites in my network. The main one uses my theme but the other one does not. When I visit the site it has no styles at all. I enabled the theme for the network so I thought it should work. When I click edit and then themes on the site with no styles it says Network enabled themes are not shown on this screen. If I click another there is still no style.

In reply to: Existing WordPress Network detectedI just want to add I’ve deleted these tables in my database and I deleted the line enabled multisite in my wp-config file. my .htaccess file is blank so I don’t have anything to restore that to. So I am really stuck.

I am using the theme Evolution 1.1 Theme by Elegant Designs. I believe it is not completely compatible with BuddyPress. Also I arrived at step 3 when I signed on to WP. My employer must have done steps 1 and 2 so I’m not sure what he did.
