In reply to: TrackbackAfter the above fix has failed, I decided to re-install WordPress and it still doesn’t work. Then tonight I used the functions.php file from a blog that the trackback is working on and it still doesn’t work.
I’ve check, re-checked, and checked-some-more all of the settings and all are as they should be. Trackbacks were working just dandy before the upgrade. I’m not seeking help as I know this problem may be local (not sure how but I digress) I just wanted to make those who might be having similiar problems aware. π

In reply to: Comments and email.Well I don’t use the email function of WordPress…just don’t have a use for it. But I do know that trackbacks still don’t work with a new theme installed and uploads are still hairy-giving a false upload message but the image is 0.kil

In reply to: |x| – One Theme to Rule Them AllFor those of you who are using this theme and notice a blowout if you’re using IE, insert this code in the main stylesheet, replacing the two mentions to the blockquote:
.post blockquote p {
margin: 1em;
}blockquote, .quote {
overflow: hidden;
background-color: #F6F6E8;
padding: 0;
margin: 1em;
border: 1px solid #525D5A;
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
}blockquote cite {
margin: 0;
padding-left: 63px;
font-size: 8pt;
font-style: normal;
font-family: tahoma, verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;
color: #333;
background: #FDFDFA;
}The color codes there are the default, but this will keep the text from losing it’s wrap after a quote for IE and it gives it a nice rounded box quote for Firefox.

In reply to: Comments and email.Well a server-problem would definitely explain things…especially if it was something like a php upgrade. I’m going to check it out with my host anyway…

In reply to: Comments and email.Bernard, I’m having sudden, unexpected problems as well. Not sure what is going on to be honest. My trackbacks and upload has suddenly stopped working in the last 3 days.

In reply to: Suddenly ProblemsAfter finding some suspicious details, I think I’m going to just re-install to be safe.

In reply to: Devenir En Gris-huh?Considering it unzips to a .FILE it’s sort of hard to implement from there…

In reply to: Devenir En Gris-huh?I am using it for 1.5 and the codex has it listed as a 1.5 theme, thus the confusion.
