the problem did not appear as part of the upgrade but later on.
the fields I am refering to are the solution provided in the FAQ of WordPress to solve a problem when Login does not work

I did not make any change to the .htaccess file, I could not understand it and there was Supercache which made it very complicated. I am interested to make a clean install ke3ping the database and other inputs intact. How do you achieve this?

After that when trying to access my blog

I get the following message
Http 500
teh website cannot display the page
