In reply to: [Smart Cookie Kit] How to tag specific code to blockHi @shark986,
how are you?
I’ve tried the Iubenda Plugin but I’ve still have problem with the cache, so I hope to start testing yours with the ability to block cookies by tag, shortcode or whatever. 🙂From your tests, your plugin doesn’t have any problem with cache at all?
Thank you very much and have a nice day!
Kind regards,Hello,
thanks for the answer.
I’ve done many tests.
I have seen that with Cache Enabler active the Iubenda plugin doesn’t block all the cookies.
It blocks cookies the first time, but If I delete all data from browser and visit again the website, then cookies are already there (eg. googleads.g.doubleclick.net and others) even if I wrapped them with <!–IUB-COOKIE-BLOCK-START–><!–IUB-COOKIE-BLOCK-END–>.Disabling plugin Cache enabler all cookies are blocked the first visit, and then if I clean browser they don’t appear again before the consent.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,Hello,
thank you very much for your reply.
I’ve tried but it doesn’t work really well.
When the user accept by scrolling the page without cookie banner it remains in cache. I’ve tried to delete cookies from the browser but the cookie banner doesn’t appear again.
I’ve used the cookie solution (safe-mode code and this code is inside the tag <head> not in the plugin area).
Let me know what I can do, please.
Thank you very much.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Smart Cookie Kit] How to tag specific code to blockHello @shark986,
thanks for your reply.
Ok, no problem for the name of the shortcode. Of course you can use what you think is better.
When do you think this feature will be ready to give it a try?
Thank you very much for your patience!

In reply to: [Smart Cookie Kit] How to tag specific code to blockHello @shark986,
thanks for you reply. You’re very kind!
It would be perfect if you’ll include the same shortcode [cookie][/cookie] for wrapping the code you don’t want to run until the user accept the policy.
This will help to move from Eu Cookie Law plugin to your plugin painless.I didn’t understand if you have written that using shortcode to block code could not work with caching system. Please let me, know as if is the case I have to think about other possible solutions.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

In reply to: [Smart Cookie Kit] How to tag specific code to blockHi Nicola,
thanks for your reply.
I would like to block specific script and html codes that add cookies, just to be sure that every cookies are blocked.
For example Eu Cookie Law plugin let you use a shortcode for wrapping code you don’t want to load eg. [cookie]<script>[/cookie] this prevents that scripts are loaded.
Unfortunately Eu Cookie Law plugin has problem with cache so I would like to start using Smart Cookie Kit.How can I block specific script and html?
Thank you very much for you patience!
Kind regards,Yes, I will.

In reply to: [Flexible Map] Google Maps without cookie.Thank you very much for your reply.
Ok, perfect.
So Google Maps doesn’t set any cookies? I need to be sure just because some European countries ask for the block of cookies before user acceptation.
Thank you very much
Kind regards,
EnfiHi Dario,
thanks for your message!
Perfect, probably I’ve read somewhere that was written to delete transients for re-start ratings.
Thank you very much.
I’ve other 2 questions, I’ve seen that the plugin follow schema.org for rich snippets, but when I use it with Woocommerce it adds another product field, with only name and rating. So it duplicates the field that woocommerce creates itself.
Do you have any ideas on how to solve, please?
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [Flexible Map] Google Maps without cookie.Hi Ross,
thanks for your message.
Well, I’ve read in an Italian website related to GDPR and cookie regulation.
I don’t put a link but I can paste the text, you should translate it with Google in case.
It says that every map installs usually 2 cookies “NID” and “PREF” and the solutions to avoid that.
Thank you very much for your collaboration.
Kind regards,
Enfi*** Text below ***
Google Maps
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=true”></script>
Hi Dario,
thanks for your message and sorry for the confusion.
So ratings are deleted when you delete transients, is there a way to avoid that?
Just because sometimes it is useful to delete transients.
Thanks for your kindness,
