you were absolutely right. Oddly enough I had done that when I had it working with quick time, but didn’t think to do it with flash. It’s working now. All I have to do now is figure out how to crop the video and get rid of the black bars/borders, part of which I think is an encoding problem.

I’ve pasted the flv url into my browser and it downloads, also the plugin does work with quicktime, but I want to use flash as it’s more ‘universal’. I still need to fix the video up in flash format though…
For the record I was running 1.9.1 and I turned all my plugins off and started turning them on one at a time. WP Super Cache had some config issues that caused the problem.
