In reply to: Display “Read more” link instead of full article? You need to split your post with the more tag. Either use the button in the editor or insert it on its own line where you want it.

In reply to: Widgets don’t drag and drop as advertisedgrottler – If you’re using Thesis 1.5, the link posted above by jsieghart will solve your problem, but check your email for notification of Thesis 1.5.1, just released. No fix by users is necessary with it.

In reply to: Can’t edit pages using ‘Visual’ Option in 2.8?I never use the Visual editor and don’t have Gears, but just now when I switched to Visual to see what would happen, the content was in the edit box but a black rectangle appeared on my browser bar and toolbars. Even though I’m in another tab here, the black bar remains.

In reply to: Widgets don’t drag and drop as advertisedThank you, jsieghart. I use Thesis and Rick’s solution took care of my problem. Haven’t tried it yet with IE, but FF and widgets are working fine now.

In reply to: Widgets don’t drag and drop as advertisedI automatically upgraded my test blog with no problems, but drag and drop will not work with Firefox 3.0.10 — it’s as if the cursor is dead. I tried with IE8 and no luck there either; almost everything except the widget I wanted to drag becomes highlighted and I can’t even select the widget in question.
Quite a disappointment, although I must say FF has been nothing but trouble and junk for past three versions. Because of that I fully expected drag and drop to work in IE8.

In reply to: Plugin to allow readers to save posts? Thanks, mosey. I never thought to check google. I figured every plugin’s at /extend. It does look promising and I’ve bookmarked it.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Quick question before I upgradeYes, I thought I’d have to deactivate those widgets. 🙂
It does backup everything, but I plan to do my own backup first (I’ve been using the backup wp plug in faithfully) just in case. The upgrade from 2.3.2. to 2.3.3 went off without a hitch so I’m hoping for similar good luck this time.
Thanks for the help!
