In reply to: Change Color of the Background in Twenty ThirteenSorry…that was correct…that did it..thank you.
THANK YOU!
That did it. I would have never known what to do.
You help is appreciated.Where do I add this? I put into my custom css styles for my theme and it did not work.
Thanks but that did not work. Still just 3 columns. I think it is wide enough to fit 4. I tried making the thumbnails a smaller size but they never changed???

Thank you#masthead.site-header { background-size: 100%; }

In reply to: Comments ProblemThis just started happening. The site has been up for over 2 years and it never had this problem. No new plugins have been added. It was working. The site was hacked recently and I wonder if this had something to do with it?
I don’t have any other theme installedForum: Plugins
In reply to: WordPress SEO by YoastYou don’t want those types of titles in your pages.
Go to PERMALINKS and do custom one so the correct titles of your pages show up for SEO. Use this:/%category%/%postname%/

In reply to: Injecting WP into an existing siteWORDPRESS for Dummies was a great starter for me.
When I am doing a site for someone who has a html site. I usually just create a new directory and call it WP and then create the site there on line and then when done, move it to the root directory.I don’t know what theme you are using, but if you go here:
http://www.woothemes.com/videos/Woo Themes has some great video tutorials. I learned so much from them.
Get your self FIREBUG so you can view code and customize css.I would recommend them or STRIKING from ThemeForest. They have terrific support and they have a beta responsive theme almost ready to go live. I have been testing a site with the beta and it is terrific.
Good luck

In reply to: Comments Box Not StickingSomething strange is happening to my site. I do not allow comments and have it set properly under Discussion to NOT ALLOW.
But comments are coming in? What is happening?Also, when I UNcheck the post or page setting to allow comments. I save the page and when I come back to edit or view it. The box for comments is CHECKED. The theme company support says it is a wordpress function and not the theme’s fault
Anyone run across this problem? WHat is the solution? I cannot allow comments!!!
Thank you for your help in advance!Forum: Plugins
