Hello again. I tried installing WordPress at the web site root folder instead of in a subfolder [site_root/wp/]. Guess what, same error message Fatal error: Class ‘Gettext_Translations’ not found in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\myworkoutgroup\wp-includes\pomo\mo.php on line 14

This looks like an install script problem to me. Does anyone have a possible solution other than re-download and re-install? Anyone? I still can locate the Gettext_Transitions class in the transitions.php file in the same folder as mo.php which uses it. ??? Am I misunderstanding what I am seeing?

Just thought of something, is it possible that my path – C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\myworkoutgroup\wp-includes\pomo\mo.php is too long and therefore cannot locate the appropriate file? Just a thought.

Apache Server v2.2 on Win XP, PHP v5.2.9-2, MySQL v5.0.81.
Web sites are active [development, not live] on the Apache server and function properly. All use php pages and scripts, so php seems to be running properly. I also use MySql databases on all functioning web sites with no issues.

    Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Apache v2.2. Have tried several re-installs with no luck. I have found the Class in the appropriate file so the files seem to be correct. I am very confused. Any other suggestions.

    Thank you

Oh by the way, my server is on Windows XP.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I have already redownloaded it and reinstalled it, as my original post mentioned. Still did not work. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.
