@petr Vujtech – Just following up on old reviews and wanted to let you know our latest release includes some major performance enhancements. It’s probably worth another look if you haven’t already. Thanks. (Erick)
@time4change1 – Just following up on some old reviews. Did you ever get these uploads to work?
@tim92109 – Just following up on some old reviews and came back to this.
Given that our basic galleries are responsive and work on mobile, we’re wondering if you might consider revising your review? A one-start review is rather punitive unless there’s really something there to warrant it.
Thanks! (Erick)

Sounds like this issue was resolved and ended up being a plugin conflict. Given that, along with lots of other improvements since the time of your review, we’re wondering if you might consider revising your start rating?
A two-star rating is somewhat punitive unless there’s really something there to warrant it.
Let us know if you have questions. Thanks. (Erick)

Are you using the plugin and are you still having any issues of this kind?
Thanks. (Erick)

I’m not sure what the cause of your original issue is, but as far as we know, there are no current issues with uploading images. There were numerous issues following the release of our major overhaul to plugin in version 2.0.
In any case, given the current performance of the plugin and the absence of any upload issues, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh, and we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
Let us know if you have questions. Thanks. (Erick)

Sounds like most of these issues are related to our major overhaul in version 2.0. At this point, most of those issues – including most plugin conflicts – have been long addressed.
I’m not sure if you’ve tried one of the recent versions lately, but given the current performance of the plugin, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh, and we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
Let us know if you have concerns that would prevent you from doing so. Thanks. (Erick)

As you know this review was written following a major overhaul of the plugin in version 2.0. A lot of the bumpy updates were also related to that. It’s been a long time now since we’ve had major issues with updates like that.
In any case, given the current performance of the plugin, we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
Let us know if you have questions. Thanks. (Erick)

It sounds like your issue may have been resolved quite a long time ago? If so, we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating? Assuming the issue was resolved, a one-star rating seems like it may be a bit harsh.
Let us know if you have questions. Thanks. (Erick)

I suspect your compatibility issue may have been related. While I’m not clear what the details were, I highly suspect this was resolved a long time ago.
I’m not sure if you are are still using NextGEN, but given the current performance of the plugin, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh, and we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?

Assuming you really just didn’t get the plugin to work, I think your review is pretty justified. I would point out that shortcodes have been working for most users for a long time, so something specific was probably going on.
My bigger question is if you’ve had a chance to use the plugin again lately, and found this to be resolved given the amount of improvements we’ve made since your review.
Thanks (Erick).
@diane Thornton – Just following up on some old reviews.
Given that your original issue was resolved quite a while ago and given the other overall improvements in the plugin since your review, we’re wondering if you might now consider upgrading that rating :). If you are having any other issues, of course, please just let us know.
Thanks. (Erick)

First, I wanted to know if this issue was ever resolved for you?
Second, we’re trying to make a bit of a push to revise old reviews following our major overhaul of the plugin in version 2.0. At this point, most of the issues related to that overhaul of the plugin have been long addressed.
In your case, I’m not sure if those issues are really related to you. It doesn’t look like it.
But in that case, I guess I’d like to ask if you really think that an issue with alt titles is sufficient to warrant a one-star review given everything else the plugin is doing and doing well? If not, we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating upwards at least a bit?
Let us know if you have question. Thanks. (Erick)
Thanks @tommlt! Much appreciated!

As you know this review was written following a major overhaul of the plugin in version 2.0. At this point, most of the issues related to that overhaul of the plugin have been long addressed. The kind of update issues you described are quite rare among hundreds of thousands of users we have.
I’m not sure if you’re using NextGEN now, but given the current performance of the plugin, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh, and we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
Let us know if you have question. Thanks. (Erick)
