The opacity as of now only works on the slide effect. To get the images on a grid format you need to float the parent div. This requires a little knowledge of CSS. Also you can easily do this using the responsive version.

I am sorry that your experience with Visual Slide Box Builders has not been the best, for problem 1: The HTML fix will be coming soon. The fix for problem 2: I have seen this happen often, and what needs to be done is give teh parent wrapper containing the [shortcode] a height. Let me know if this works…

I am sorry to hear that. I would be glad to help you and change your mind about this plugin. What’s going on with save? I am aware there was a problem but it was solved long time ago with update, which version are you using?
Also about the paid version, I am having some trouble on the plugin site with the buy button and I am working to fix this. It should be fixed very very soon I will update you
