However, you can get a close enough feel by wrapping the boxes around responsive divs (like in a column system), so when the resolution gets small the boxes will stack on top of each other.

And this is because it makes sense for the boxes to not be responsive since it could contain an image as a background and resizing the image could ruin the resolution, and other factors. However, if you wrap the boxes inside divs that use a column system they will act as responsive, stacking on top of each other when the window width becomes smaller.

First of all thank you for the nice review. In response to that I just did a quick update to address your issue. If you update the plugin the new version now has a “Open in new window” checkbox right under title link that allows you to do exactly what you want. Once again thanks for using WordPress Visual Slide-Box Builder. BTW I suggest your like the FB page to stay in the loop with updates and posts:
