was there ever a fix to this?

1. Reinstalled
2. cleared cache
3. used Google libraries
4. removed all plugins.
5. using standard wp theme
2.9.1 seems to be broken on upgrading..
I get the same errors when TRYING to install in a subdomain single database .
I am running WP without a problem on the root.
and I don’t want to set up multiple databases..
I ‘ve been struggling with this for 3 days and about to give up.. HELP..
any body know how to fix this .. I am using PLESK and can not see what I have to do to change permission… is there a file or a directory that I have to CHMOD?
