The creators of the Politicize theme helped me get this fixed. We swapped out this line of code:

Note for ReviewWire — if you can’t downgrade, you may want to consider doing a find/replace all across your site to make the change to all of the pages at once. There are various plugins that do this, just make sure to backup your site before trying it!

I’m experiencing the same issue. Is there a possibility of reverting this behavior or giving users the option to use the excerpt instead in a future update? The change makes some of our posts look rather ugly, especially press releases. (They come up with “For Immediate Release” and the press contact info rather than what the post is about.)
