Hi,
No worries. I’ve managed to work round the problem with a bit of JavaScript that takes the table on the page and exports it to a CSV file format so I can use that for now to allow the exports on the pages where it’s needed for views.
Thanks again for the help.
Darren
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the quick response again.
Hm? The instructions you’ve given above don’t appear to be working for me as I’d done all of that except setting the page mode to “view”, which I’ve now changed. I still don’t see the bulk actions drop down with the export option. I even tried adding the bulk_actions_enabled=”true” and bulk_export_enabled=”true” options to the shortcode to see if these would force the issue but that didn’t work either.
I’m going to be offline for a couple of days so won’t be able to look into this further to see if it’s something I’ve done wrong but wanted to reply to let you know what I’m seeing at the moment.
When I’m back online I’ll grab screenshots of my plugin options, page set up etc. so that you can check that I’ve got everything set up okay.
Thanks again for the quick reply.

Wow! Thanks for the quick turn around.
I’ve downloaded the source from Bitbucket and uploaded it and it looks to be working great in the Data Explorer view.
Is there a way this can be added to the front end as well so that anonymous users can do an export of data as well, i.e. users who don’t have access to the WordPress back end, much like you can with tables on the front end? If you could do that then that would tick all of the boxes and – I would like to think – make this a very powerful feature to allow access to complicated data lookups without actually having to understand or do anything with the database.
Thank you so much for the great plugin as it’s making my life putting together an administration WordPress app for a charity so much easier!
Thanks
Darren
Oops! I think I read you comment wrong – half asleep! 🙂
If you look at the sas data example is uses %%USER%% as a way of showing only the data for specific student, i.e. if they’re logged in it’ll show them only their own courses and grades. Is this what you mean?
Do you mean a way to override the “Default pagination value” in the shortcode? That would be awesome if we could do that as it could then be set on a per-data set basis.
Hi Peter,
That’s great to hear and thanks for being so responsive and open to new requests.
Thanks
Darren

In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar Lite] Serious performance issuesHi,
Sadly I’ve uninstalled the plugin now and I’ve started to use a different solution.
That said, if you’re not seeing this issue then I wonder if it’s down to either another plugin or the theme I was using at the time?
I was using the Divi theme from Elegant Themes (adding the shortcode to a text module in the Divi Builder) and the following plugins were installed:
Antispam Bee
AntiVirus
Exploit Scanner
Google Authenticator
Improved Cron
ManageWP – Worker
Ninja Forms
OSM
Plugin Vulnerabilities
Popup Maker
Post Thumbnail Editor
Really Simple SSL
Server IP & Memory Usage Display
Shield
Snazzy Maps
Sucuri Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Hardening
Theme Authenticity Checker (TAC)
UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
WP Accessibility

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] WP-GPX-Maps Version 1.5.05 bug fixedWell done for helping the community…not! This is a free plugin so why try and make money out of it? If you want to take a fork of the plugin and make it a premium plugin to make money then go ahead, but this? Really?!

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] 1.5.05 -> Same Bugs As Before (Elevation Chart All Wrong)Well, I’ve been tinkering with the latest version to get it working, which I thought I’d done, getting the tooltips to work properly, showing the correct unit of distance, and also getting them to show the distance to two decimal places, which looks much better on shorter tracks as the rounding meant it really wasn’t worth looking at the tooltip.
Having done that I’ve just noticed this morning that the x-axis on the charts also does a horrible rounding for the distance too. This isn’t as noticeable on longer tracks, but again, on shorter tracks this looks awful, and wasn’t a problem with the last know good working version (1.3.16).
I’ve reverted all of my sites I use this on back to 1.3.16 for now and I’ll carry on looking into the x-axis issue.
If I get everything I want working then I’ll let you know the fixes I used and then you might be able to move to the latest version. Trying to get people to pay you to fix a free plugin is a bit bloody cheeky if you ask me!
I’m a little surprised that a new version of the plugin was released recently which didn’t address any of the issues raised on this support forum at all?! Are the developers actually reading these threads?!?!

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] Chart distance tooltip incorrectThanks for the latest plugin update but I’m afraid to say that even though the x axis on the chart now looks to be using the correct unit of measure, the tooltip is still using the incorrect one.
Thanks

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] No track is shown anymoreI’d recommend rolling back to version 1.3.16 as there are a number of issues with the latest version of this plugin. You can download it at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gpx-maps/advanced/ – scroll to the bottom and select the version from the dropdown list.

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] Elevation Chart Wonky@robin_dean, go to https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gpx-maps/advanced/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. There you should be able to download previous versions, which the 1.3.16 was the last good one if I remember correctly.

In reply to: [WP GPX Maps] Elevation Chart Wonky@robin_dean, see my earlier post about the latest update not getting the chart scale values correct. It looks like it’s taking the first value (m or ft) and using that on both parts of the chart, even though the actual numbers are correct.
It looks like the latest update has introduced a number of bugs that need to be addressed. If you want to revert it looks like the previous versions are available in the advanced view.

In reply to: [WP WooCommerce Mailchimp] “Unable to load lists from MailChimp”Hi.
I’m seeing this too but I don’t want to add a temporary account to debug as this is a live customer site.
If I go to the plugin’s settings everything works fine. If I change a setting and save the changes that’s when I see “Unable to load lists from MailChimp: () . Please check your Settings” even though I see the “Your settings have been saved.” message.
Is there a common cause of this if you’ve looked into the same issue on other sites?
Thanks
