In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Video Player – Can I Mute the Video? So, I just figured this out. I used a custom HTML widget, pasted the embed iframe code into that, and added ?autoplay=1&mute=1&rel=0&modestbranding=1 after the video link. I know that’s adding more than I was asking for, but it helps to have the extra things that I wanted in there as well.
I also had to wrap it in a div tag so that I could adjust the size and responsiveness of the video with css.
Hope that helps anyone in the future.

In reply to: Search a single pageSort of. I will have 80 images with unique titles and/or tags for each of the images that will basically be a descriptor for the image. I want the user to be able to search for a subject that they are interested in, and the result will be the title/tag/descriptor and the image of their search. Then they can click on the image or title and be taken to a page that has the full story about the image/title they just found. Does that make sense?

In reply to: Search a single pageInteresting. Don’t know anything about the search form template that you mentioned, but if it shows results from just that page, that might be the right result. Can you expand?
Although, I also kind of like the A WP Life plugin idea too as it seems to be able to search for tags or something that could be applied to the photos. I assume it’s only a paid plugin, correct?
I don’t think a regular gallery filter will work because each image/title will be a link to its own page with more info about a project. So, while creating a tag for each image in the gallery during the process may not be too bad, having 80+ filters at the top of the page doesn’t seem logical. It would be almost like having links that take you to an anchor point on the page.

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Limit search to one page? That’s interesting. Thanks for your input and honesty. I like the idea of going to the individual pages, which is where the image/title links take you anyway. Does Relevanssi work with the existing search bar that is built in to WordPress or do you place Relevanssi where you want it?

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Limit search to one page? Thanks for the very fast reply. I appreciate your answer, but unfortunately I don’t think the person that I’m creating the site for wants the user to have to command/control F in order to find what they are looking for. They want to link to the page from a link that says “Search our portfolio of projects”. The when they get to the portfolio page, there is already a search bar at the top of the page, but below the header image, with all of the linked images/titles listed below. Maybe I should say the search bar would be at the top of the content of the page. After all of that, do you still think your plugin is an inferior solution?

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Download BackupApologies. I was unaware that this would be related to premium products since it could happen to the free version as well as the paid for version. I will submit a ticket. Thanks.

In reply to: Theme Editor files won’t save…Looks like the URLs are correct.
Not sure how to find that phrase in the plugins since they are straight from the WordPress.org library, but I didn’t find that phrase in any code that has been written for the theme it uses.
Honestly, I’ve worked on the site for a few years now and have not seen this problem until recently. Not saying it can only be the updates because I know the owner of the site frequently gets in and changes things himself without my knowledge of what those changes are. He says he never touches the theme editor code and I think I believe him.
As for timing of when the error message comes up, the Unable to communicate… message usually takes a little while to show up after the circle spins for about 20-30 seconds. The Something went wrong… message comes up right away.

In reply to: Theme Editor files won’t save…Pretty sure the site is on a Linux plan. I’ve seen a similar thing happen to another site I’ve worked on as well, but that message was:
Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.
The 2 sites are developed totally different, so it’s not anything with a certain plugin or theme as they both have completely different themes and plugins, for the most part. Seems to be happening on newly updated sites, but can’t be sure if it’s a WordPress thing or a server thing. Of course, GoDaddy says it’s not on their end.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Add I’m not a robot CheckboxThank you. I will try that out.
My alternative for now was to make all of the radio button options on the form turned off which makes them required to select one while using reCaptcha v3 at the same time. I will mention this to my client though and see if they still want me to use v2.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Siteorigin Image Widget Title TextOkay, so these columns don’t contain whatever is in them then, correct? If not, is there a way to contain the contents of each column? Like would it be easier to do this in rich text editors or something else?

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Siteorigin Image Widget Title TextYeah, I did try the Tablet Layout thing. It seemed to help a little, but not perfectly because then other parts of the page would start collapsing strangely.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Siteorigin Image Widget Title TextYes, the fonts are larger than the columns when you view the page on a smaller screen, but not on a larger screen. As you can see in your first image, the text looks justified left and lined up with the left side of the centered icon above it. On the other images, you can see that the text id centered under the icons.
