In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Light line under navigationOkay, I understand. I have recreated a dumbed down version of the home page so that you can see it without having to see the actual content. Looks like when I removed the main logo and viewed the page before putting in the dummy logo, the line disappeared. But when I added the dummy logo into the page, which is the same sized file as the original, the line reappeared. The logo(s) are placed on the page using SiteOrigin Image widget. Hopefully that makes sense. Here’s a link to the dummy page. https://bit.ly/3tv13tT

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Light line under navigationI just removed the background image from the row below the nav and the line is gone. I recropped the top edge of the image, resaved it as a jpeg with no matte, added that background to that row and the line is still there. (The line actually looks kind of like a light colored blue on top of the dark blue background.) So, now I think it has something to do with the background image on the first row when the header is disabled. The line also shows up if I enable the header, but add css to display:none; the header.
Because the site can’t be viewed by the public yet because of it’s nature, I can’t post it here. I understand that you want to make money from the premium support, but this seems to be an actual problem with your plugin and the way the row background image interacts with the disabling of the header.

In reply to: Slider that pops up instead of embedded in pageI think I figured it out. Thanks for all of your help. I wanted to paste a link to a page that worked for my needs to share with anyone else trying to figure out how to create a popup modal window that can open up pretty much anything.

Hope this helps.

In reply to: Slider that pops up instead of embedded in pageYes, thanks for the correction. I now realize I was using the wrong terminology. Very sorry about that.
So, you say that I could wrap each slider slide with an anchor containing a data-fancybox link, but won’t that bring up individual slides? I want the whole slider to open in a modal window so that one can click through the slides in that modal window. Same way as if you would have a slider that did not have an auto start on a page. You would just click the arrows to go from one slide to another. Maybe I can wrap the entire slider with an anchor containing a data-fancybox link?

In reply to: Slider that pops up instead of embedded in pageOh, so just adding that Javascript to the anchor link will make a button open a page in a new window? (Sorry, but Javascript is not really my thing.)
As for the Fancybox, yes, I want and entire slider series to open in a Fancybox over the page where the button resides. So when you click on the button, the Fancybox opens and then you can click through the slides in the slider in that Fancybox. Maybe it’s making more sense now. Maybe not. Sorry if not.

In reply to: Slider that pops up instead of embedded in page@bcworkz Thanks for the reply, but not sure I understand. I was planning on using Smart Slider 3 to created the multiple slides within one slider, but not sure how to make the Javascript work with it to make the slider appear in a popup.
If I can’t figure that part out, could this also be done with a plugin like Easy Fancybox, or something like that? Not sure which way would be better, if both are options.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderThanks for the reply. I didn’t see that param blocked, and actually the last thing blocked was a week ago for GTranslate. I guess when I was trying that plugin out. So, I just deactivated Wordfence and am now able to get into the widget.
Since this is in a dev folder, maybe I’ll just leave it off and make my changes that way for now. However, I guess I have to be concerned about this in the future when it’s live and someone tries to enter the widget to make changes. It’s definitely something to do with Wordfence. Is it possible to be something else in Wordfence?

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderHello. Revisiting this as now I have more info from my client. They apparently used a translator with WPML when they had the site built the first time and plan to do that again after I rebuild the site. (FML Wish I had known this before)
Anyway, there are some pages that have retained their translations during the theme change because they were simply created with the native WordPress text editor. I want to switch those pages to SiteOrigin Page Builder. However when I switch to Page Builder mode, it puts the paragraphs into a SiteOrigin Editor widget, but when I click on that widget it opens up a new page that is all white with the date and time at the top left of the page and doesn’t allow me to enter the widget. I checked the page out and it still translates. I just can’t edit it. Any ideas why this would happen? Or do I just have to create new rows, copy and paste the text, and then copy and paste the translations from a copy of the page?

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderSo, after doing a LOT more research, I realize that WPML is only a manual translator and not machine driven. Sorry for my confusion in this. I am going to try to figure out if any machine based translation plugins will work with Page Builder, other than the GTranslate, which I’m not sure if I trust. I’ll let you know if I find anything, and please let me know if you know of any that might work.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderWell this really throws a wrench into my plans. Thanks for your honest replies. I didn’t think this would be such an issue, but unfortunately I may have to start using another page builder. Please let me know if this is ever updated.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderSo, if I’m not mistaken, this basically means you can make a duplicate of the page and then go in and rewrite/translate all of the copy manually, correct? Meaning, I have to speak and write in Spanish fluently, correct?
If that is correct, is there any other option? Polylang? Gtranslate? The theme it’s coming from used a built in page builder and translated just fine. That’s why I’m not understanding why this won’t work. I’ve heard Gtranslate isn’t that reliable, though, and my client would like to stick with WPML.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderCan you expand on that, please?

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderThanks for your reply. So, there’s no way to translate at all from English to Spanish using SiteOrigin Page Builder?

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Translate EN to ES with Page BuilderI also just tried adding /?lang=es to the home page with WPML installed and it took me directly to the Blog/Posts page, which was still in English.
Sorry for any confusion. Looks like I had actually set the W3 Total Cache plugin JS Minify to Only Minify instead of Combine and Minify. When I looked again this morning, both pages were not working. I just turned JS Minify off completely, pushed new files up, and now it seems to be working again. However, if this is correct, there seems to be a problem with the JS Minify component of W3 Total Cache conflicting with the new version of Logo Showcase.
