In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Stats not sync’dHi there
We’re still seeing a 403 Forbidden error when viewing your site’s xmlrpc.php file.
Can you ask your hosting provider to double check their security logs for any blocked requests to the /wordpress/xmlrpc.php file on your site, using the
Jetpack by WordPress.comuser agent. If they only offer XML-RPC access by allow IP addresses, then they will need to allowlist the IP addresses listed here:
* https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/
Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time. For that reason, we recommend your host uses the machine-readable versions of these IP ranges in JSON or plain text format to automate configuration changes on their systems.
Jetpack needs to be able to make requests to your site’s xmlrpc.php file:

Thanks
Hi Jorge
I just got some clarification on this from our developers.
While you can’t add a separate search bar for a page-specific search, you could in theory add a custom search button/link that has specific filters applied:
https://jetpack.com/support/search/install-search-on-your-site/#add-overlay-link
Hope that helps!
Hi there
If you first add your video using the Video Block, then view the video and click the sharing icon at the top right of the video, you will be able to copy the iframe embed code from there, as shown in this screenshot:
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] I can’t reconnect jetpackThanks for the confirmation! Let us know if you need anything else.
You should now see no errors without the www as shown:

Hi there
Did you check if you still had the issue while all other plugins were deactivated and Cloudflare was paused?
https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/203118044#h_8654c523-e31e-4f40-a3c7-0674336a2753
If so, I’d suggest asking your host to allowlist the IP addresses listed here:
* https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/
Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time. For that reason, we recommend your host uses the machine-readable versions of these IP ranges in JSON or plain text format to automate configuration changes on their systems.
Let us know if that helps.
Hi @maestraweb
That isn’t an official feature of the Carousel, but there’s a post here that sounds like it does what you need, so you might want to give that a try:

Hope that helps!
Hi @jrgptrgvnn
No, it can’t search within PDF documents, the document content would need to be extracted and converted to a post on your site, so that the text could be searched directly within the database (not within a file).
Sorry for the trouble. The error message suggests that although the update failed, some files were still left on the server, which is why you can’t reinstall the plugin. You’ll need to delete the files manually as @petercrosby415 mentioned. You can find a guide to that here:
@petercrosby415 if you’re still having trouble, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

Hi there
Sorry for the trouble. We’ve had occasional reports of this for a few years, but we haven’t yet been able to identify a cause:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/8892
I’ve added your reports there so you can follow it for any updates, but until we have a site where we can reproduce this consistently, we have no way of fixing it.
Hi there
Thanks for the suggestion. There’s an open issue related to this here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/1258You can also find instructions here for deactivating the CSS concatenation, so that only CSS for active features will be loaded:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/15734#issuecomment-626657568
Hope that helps!
Hi Wando
The site would need to have Jetpack connected for you to turn that off yourself, but we can do it for you if you share the site URL.
Could you please post your site URL here so that we can take care of that?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thanks!
Ok, in that case can you share your site URL here so we can take a look and see what is happening?
Hi again.
I checked with our security team, and this should now be resolved, assuming your customer has updated to the latest version of your plugin.
If you need any more help with this, could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?
Thanks!
