Hi there. We’re not aware of any conflict, but since Jetpack also generates sitemaps, it’s possible there could be something conflicting. Have you tried disabling Jetpack’s Sitemaps module to see if that helps?
If you continue to have trouble, could you provide more details about the issue, and steps that we can take to reproduce it?
Thanks.
By the way, since you have a VideoPress subscription, I’d suggest contacting us directly via this contact form for faster support.
Hi again!
There is a quality setting in the video player. See this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/dkpmId
Do you see something different, or am I misunderstanding what you mean?
I do see that it’s not playing in HD initially though. Can you confirm exactly how you’ve embedded the video into the page?
Hi @nrms
The latest Jetpack Social updates will not work correctly in the Jetpack version you are running on your site.
You can try installing the standalone Jetpack Social plugin to see if that helps:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack-social/
Otherwise, I’d suggest updating both WordPress and Jetpack to the latest versions to ensure you have all the latest features and security fixes.
Hi there
The post you linked to doesn’t appear to be available any more. Can you clarify how you are adding the video and what you have tried?
Note that
hd=trueshould be included as a shortcode attribute without quotes, as shown in the documentation:Hi there. I have not been able to reproduce this issue in testing so far. Could you please provide step by step instructions for reproducing this issue on a test page? Thanks.
Hi there. I haven’t seen this error before. There may be something else installed on the site that’s causing problems.
The best way to find out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict. You can do that by following these steps:
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Jetpack, and clear your browser’s cache.
- Then, test again. If the issue is resolved, then you know another plugin is conflicting here.
- You can reactivate plugins one by one, checking after each one to discover which plugin is causing the problem.
- You can leave that plugin deactivated and/or contact whoever makes that plugin for help resolving the issue it’s causing.
If deactivating plugins doesn’t help, it may be your theme.
- Temporarily activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One.
- Then, test again to determine if it’s a problem with the theme. You can contact whoever makes the theme for help resolving the issue it’s causing.
You can see these theme troubleshooting steps in detail in our Troubleshooting manually guide.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack CDNHi there. From our end it looks like hotlink protection is still in place:
Can you double check on that?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack CDNHi there. Your site appears to have some image hotlinking protection in place via Cloudflare, which may cause image access issues. I tried to access the image mentioned above (from the UK) and got an access denied error from Cloudflare.
Please try deactivating Cloudflare’s hotlink protection temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
Hi there. Jetpack Brute Force protection protects against brute force attacks, where hackers try to gain access to your site by using thousands of different combinations of usernames and passwords until they find the right one.
If the other services you mentioned provide security features that aren’t included in Jetpack or your server’s firewall, then you may want to consider adding those too.
Alternatively, Jetpack Security provides comprehensive site security including real‑time backups, a web application firewall, malware scanning, and spam protection (as well as brute force protection).

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Safe Mode LoopHi @onurparlar
It’s strange that replacing the code as described above would break your site. How did it break exactly?
You mentioned “cause of site setup that act broken my site”
What is the site setup you’re referring to? Do you have some kind of non-standard URL configuration or something?
Hi @imdtracy
I have confirmed this issue when using the Classic Editor plugin, and reported it to our developers here. You can follow that issue for updates.
In the meantime, I would suggest that you advise your clients to transition to using the Block Editor, as the Classic Editor is unlikely to be supported in the longer term (although it will be fully supported and maintained until 2024, or as long as is necessary.)
Hi there
Yes, you can limit the time students have to view a lesson within a course by using the Course Access Expiration feature in Sensei LMS. With this feature, you can set an access period for the whole course, such as making it accessible only for 1 week. Once the specified time limit is reached, students will lose access to all lessons within that course.
To set the access period for a course:
- Navigate to the course edit page in your WordPress admin dashboard.
- On the sidebar, look for the ‘Access Period’ panel.
- Choose the duration you want to restrict access to the course, such as 1 week.
- Update or publish the course.
This way, the entire course, including all of its lessons, will be available for your students only for the designated access period. After the expiration of the access period, the students will not be able to view any lessons within the course. Note that this feature applies to the entire course and not individual lessons.
You can read more about it here:

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Search is not workingHi there
From your video, it looks like you use (or have used) Relevanssi, which may have affected the search index.
I see you have disabled it, but can you also try clearing your cache after that (disabling alone doesn’t help) to see if the problem is resolved?
If not, can you confirm if location search is working as expected?
