the problem remains pressing for version 3.4.2 with plugin folder name ‘wp-category-meta’
I have same issu – duplicating content from main langeage to all tabs on admin ui.
nothing’s help, no solution.
Realy this plugin almost does not work.
1) no menu item highlight
2) media image not working
3) labels for custom fields not displaying

actually i cant find good plugin for portfolio with custom fields and separated posts, categories, tags.
I have same trouble.
