Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Auto Update of WordPress doesn’t workHey @aksdvp,
the solution in your link works – thank you so much! We added the code into Code Snippets plugin (not in mu-plugins) which also works.
We didn’t think that something like this would work, since the auto update didn’t work even when we were surfing the frontend or backend – so the browser was logged into Basic Auth. But as we see now the cron request seems to need an extra authentification.
Again thank you very much!

In reply to: [Redirection] Placeholder %(page) not functioningHey @johnny5,
thanks for coming back to us. It is the German language: de_DE
Isn’t it possible to simply display the Englisch translation in case another language’s translation is missing? Or isn’t it missing here and it is a bug in the localization file itself?

In reply to: [Maintenance] “Maintenance is On” missing in admin barWell, that would be great, if it would return. What does @fruitfulcode say to this?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Maintenance] “Maintenance is On” missing in admin barWe don’t understand that, too.
@fruitfulcode could you say something to this? Is it possible to bring back this feature? It’s really important for our agency to streamline our processes as good as possible. In terms of UX it is very useful not to be forced to make a click more than necessary or even to log out, just to see if maintenance is active or not.
As I just see a few minutes after my post you released v3.5.3 with a bug fix. So the problem is solved here.
Thank you,
-doffineThank you very much for fixing the bugs above with the two new updates. Now all works perfectly.
So I marked this here as resolved.
Ok, we just contacted you via mail.
Update: We tried to switch off all plugins you see above but the error persists.
Would it be of help for you if you got admin credentials for one of the three affected WordPresses to check it out?

Update: We now checked rolling back the plugin – back to version 3.0.0, but it didn’t work. This seems to be a bit weird as this version surely had worked back then. So it could be a plugin incompatibility.
Again: Please help us with the error above. Can you conclude something from the JS error message above?
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [Melos] Where can I find Melos changelogHello @phpexpert21
thank you for this information. Would it be possible to expose the changelog on a direct accessible website, like almost all other theme and plugin produvers do it, too?
We maintain a big number of WordPresses with dozens of themes and hundrets of plugins. It is a little bit annoying in the update procedure to be forced to download a ZIP, search for a readme and open it when it would be possible just to follow a link in the browser to get to know about latest changes in the update.
