    Hello there,

first of all thank you very much for your great plugin. It is always the first choice of maintenance plugins for out agency.

But: In the newest version we are sadly mising the “Maintenance is On”-Info in the admin bar. It is really important for us to see at first sight whether Maintenance is active or not. We do not want to go into the Maintenance Settings or even to log us out to look it up.

Would you bring this indicator back to the admin bar, please?
Thank you very much in advance.

    We don’t understand that, too.

@fruitfulcode could you say something to this? Is it possible to bring back this feature? It’s really important for our agency to streamline our processes as good as possible. In terms of UX it is very useful not to be forced to make a click more than necessary or even to log out, just to see if maintenance is active or not.

This issue maybe caused by their functions.php file in their plugin folder “includes”.

This current 3.7 update has caused a lot of issues, so the maintenance button in Admin toolbar may return after they fix these issues.

See one of the issues posted here:

Well, that would be great, if it would return. What does @fruitfulcode say to this?

Fruitcode has not replied yet, these issues just came out right after their 3.7 version update.

They will resolve this, I have found they were pretty good on keeping tabs on issues that need further updates and I suspect they still intend to keep the Admin button available too.

I also think they rushed this update because of the hoopla that occurred when WordPress.org removed their plugin.

I just want to add to the others who want the maintenance button in the admin bar put back in…that’s a very useful feature that should not have been removed!

Thanks for information guys, we already bring it back in 3.7.1 version.
