In reply to: In post linkSeriously, this is a pre-existing feature of any blogging tool.
I realize that, but then why can I not find it on my blogs dashboard. With blogger one just clicks on add link, whilweone writes one post.A box appears in which one writes how one wants link to appear(word, part of sentence etc) presto its done.I do not need to understand urls(ugly, pretty whatever) I do not need to format any thing.
I just switched to WordPress using a host.I am having nothing but trouble.I try to copy and paste simple blog content to the template,my blog has disappeared, only the header remains(and its been like that for 2 days now,try and get help with that, sure if you pay).Again with blogger any idiot can copy and paste code to template(Code like sitemeter ,blog awards,Google ads etc etc)Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: template edit problemsSo does this mean the rest of my blog is gone. All I deleted was the Google ad in the left sidebar. When I click on edit template I still see the rest of the code etc, including the new code I copied and pasted that makes up the rest of the blog.
I had a blogger blog once and template changes were very simple, find area one wants to paste code, hit upload and its done.Whats different about WordPress
Would the host provider have something to do with this, maybe I have to update at the login site to my account set up by the host provider.
changes made to the template at the WordPress site ,do they show up on ones blog automatically,or does one need to change something over at my host account.
