How does one go about incorporating links into ones post/articles.So one can change the url to a word or sentence, but people still see it is a link because the color of the fonts are different and underlined. What is this application/plugin/widget even called

    It’s called HTML.

Seriously, this is a pre-existing feature of any blogging tool. You just write out the <a> element, with the url for the link as the value of the href (Hyperlink REFerence) attribute, and the link text between the opening and closing tags:

    <a href="url/for/link.html">Click me</a>

    More on links with HTML:

To simplify this, when using the *advanced* or rich visual editor you can select a bit of text already typed in the textarea, click the format button that looks like a chain link (the ‘link’ button), and enter the url. In the basic editor, the ‘link’ quicktag button works the same.

I realize that, but then why can I not find it on my blogs dashboard. With blogger one just clicks on add link, whilweone writes one post.A box appears in which one writes how one wants link to appear(word, part of sentence etc) presto its done.I do not need to understand urls(ugly, pretty whatever) I do not need to format any thing.
I just switched to WordPress using a host.I am having nothing but trouble.I try to copy and paste simple blog content to the template,my blog has disappeared, only the header remains(and its been like that for 2 days now,try and get help with that, sure if you pay).Again with blogger any idiot can copy and paste code to template(Code like sitemeter ,blog awards,Google ads etc etc)

In the write post screen, all you need to do is select the word(s) you want to link and click the button, then insert the address you want to link to – there’s a button for this in both editors, the normal one and the wysiwyg.

Thanks got it figured out.Highlight the word or series of words and then hit link.

If you’re having problems with your theme, just post your question in the appropriate Forum section and volunteers will help you as best as we can.

There’s no need to pay anyone. The Forum is driven by unpaid volunteers.

He paid a “developer” $450 for the theme etc. He’s not talking about “us”….

    Oh… my bad.

Nah…. just didn’t see other posts by the poor guy. No worries!

I was just expressing my frustrations. But my problem has been resolved.Helped by one of the moderators
So this problem has been resolved.
