  • Same problem here . . . nothing indexed since update.

Google is not indexing any of my pages since this update. It says the sitemap is fine, but though there used to be 70+ pages indexed, now there are none.

I’ve waited several days and still nothing.

Very disappointed in this update . . . am considering other options.

Update: I went back and deleted all the slides and then started creating the show again. This time I didn’t get the duplicate slides. I was also able to create another slide show without getting the duplicate slides.

SOOO, I believe this may be a glitch that only happens the first time one installs and uses the plugin . . . still shouldn’t happen, but thought it appropriate to report that after my initial attempt went awry, I eventually got things to work.

My next issue: displaying image descriptions without titles (which I prefer to leave as name of the image, meaningless to everyone other than myself).

I am also getting duplicate images. I am NOT clicking twice. This happens for EVERY image I try to insert.

    I’m on a Mac OSX 10.6.8, FF 19.0.

My first slideshow was to have many slides, but I will not be creating it using this plugin if I have to delete one copy of every slide I try to add.

    Very annoyed.
Also, please ignore my gravatar. It was picked without my input (annoyed about that too).

It would still be helpful if the discrepancies between the two pages Kort cited above were resolved. The codex says to consult these two pages, yet they don’t agree on what to do (and the discrepancies have been there for quite a while).

Has anyone actually put this to the test? i.e., backed up in both methods and then tried to restore to see if one works and the other does not?

In the meantime, I go with checking more boxes rather than fewer . . . and hope I never need to put it to the test 🙂
