  • Where and how would we add this custom code?

    Hi, G.

I believe those setting went away with the plugin updates. I’ve had very good luck breaking my backups into at least 4 jobs, so they don’t time out. Each runs daily. Here are my jobs:
    1. Just the database
    2. Half the files. Whichever make sense for you.
    3. Other half of the files.
    4. Optimization and checking.

I don’t have any sites with a database so big that #1 above gets an error. I have had to break the file backups (2 & 3)into smaller groupings on one site.

    Hope this helps.

My problem with s2Member registration emails was fixed by v2.0.30 of NextGen!

Sorry, @esmi. I thought I was posting on the same subject. I’ll submit my own bug report as suggested above.

I am having the same problem with NextGen 2.0.21 and s2Member v130816. I am running WP 3.6.1.

s2Member is not able to send the custom email notifications on user registration. Instead, the default WordPress registration emails are being sent. Unfortunately, NextGen is very important to our site, so I can’t take advantage of the fix you suggest above.

We are also getting the message:

    New User Email Configuration
Conflict warning: You have another theme or plugin installed that is preventing s2Member from controlling this aspect of your installation. When the pluggable function wp_new_user_notification() is handled by another plugin, it’s not possible for s2Member to allow customization of New User Emails. This is NOT a major issue. In fact, in some cases, it might be desirable. That being said, if you DO want to use s2Member’s customization of New User Emails, you will need to deactivate one plugin at a time until this conflict warning goes away.

Would someone from NextGen please acknowledge this posting? I’d like to know that you are aware of the problem.

    Thanks.

Works great. No more errors. Thanks for the quick response.

Under Settings > Jobs, there is another option I am wondering about. Besides setting:

    Maximum number retries = 9
Restart on archive creation = 200

what about the check box for “Restart on every main step?” Would checking that box also help to not time-out?

Same situation. Would like to get updates as the story unfolds. ERROR: Signal 15 is sent to script! and backing up to a folder with a .zip file.

Having the same problem. I was using Raw HTML Pro about a year ago, and was able to toggle between Visual and Text Editor without any change to HTML tags. I’m using WP 3.5.1. Not sure when this changed, but now my p tags are being stripped out. I’ve enclosed my PHP in raw shortcodes, so that is safe.

I repurchased Pro yesterday, hoping that the updated version would fix the problem, but tags are still being stripped out.

Anyone have advice, besides NOT switched between the editors? Both codes and users need to access the page content, so that doesn’t work.

Hi, I was wondering the same thing and found a response, in French, on the developer’s site:

Pour le chemin d’accès du fichier sitemap, c’est

    /wp-content/plugins/wp_xml_sitemap_generator/sitemap.xml

Je vais réécrire la page d’accueil du plugin pour rendre ça plus intuitif.

I think the path translates well. I believe he says afterwards that he is going to update the welcome page of the plugin to make finding the path more intuitive. Not sure what that means.

Thanks, Telfia, for all your time. I appreciate you sticking with me trying to figure this out.

I ended up taking all the content out of the custom fields, and putting all the html and php (using ezPHP plugin) right into the page editor window. I hadn’t wanted to do this because the user plans to update the text periodically, and I felt we would be more vulnerable to them messing up the html. But, that’s just what we’re going to live with. So now my page content is searchable.

    Thanks again.

I have a same issue but with a 4 hour subtraction of the date I set. Each time I update a post which has an expiration date, 4 hours is subtracted from the time I had set. But nothing is expiring at all.

I have my time set to New York, and can’t go to UTC timezone difference because the Ajax calendar plugin requires a City timezone.

If I can’t set timezone to UTC, does that mean I can’t use the Expirator plugin?

    Thanks.

BTW, hosting is linux with DreamHost

Yes. It is set to New York time (Settings > General > Timezone). I created a new post yesterday at 2:45pm, and set it to expire at 3:00 pm (15 and 00 minutes). I just checked it now under Edit, and the date is still yesterday, but the time has been changed to 11:00am.

I ran another test, and every time I update a post, 4 hours is subtracted from the expiration time. Repeated updates decreases the date as well.

I looked in the log, and the messages say that several posts have expired. But none of them have changed from Published to Draft.

I have screen shots that I’m happy to send you if you tell me how. Thanks for your quick response.

I’m in desperate need of some help printing my Ajax Event Calendar. My client has a very full calendar. I have created print CSS to suppress all the areas on the page I don’t want. All that is fine, but I can’t get the calendar itself to behave.

I’ve stripped out all the fancy CSS and javascript for navigation, and created a page with just the calendar and this print CSS on our test site: work.hollywoodballroom.com/calendar-with-print-css
At the bottom of the page, I have a javascript print screen link.
When using the javascript print function, depending on the browser, Saturday’s information is either truncated, or all the days’ events show, but they moved to the left and are not below their days. Then again, sometimes the events stack on each other and print is covered up.

In Firefox, I’ve played with the File > Print function, by shrinking the calendar to 50%. Above 50%, nothing shows up in any of the event boxes. At 50%, the information shows, but is not properly positioned.
In Chrome, printing the page (right click > print) produces some readable events, but lots of overwritten information, and not all the days are even displayed.

In IE9 gives me lots of empty boxes, followed by lots of overwritten information.

I would be grateful for any wisdom the forum has to offer.

I still need help. I can’t find an appropriate plugin. I thought WP-Table Reloaded was it, but it does not allow me to access the aec tables.

I tried just exporting the 2 production aec tables in PHPMyAdmin, and importing them to my test system. I can see the data is now in the test system tables through PHPMyAdmin, but it isn’t showing up on the calendar.

Would you please give me more guidance? My thanks.

Hi, cpaulette. I have no answers for you, since I share many of the same questions. Has anyone responded to you? If you, would you mind sharing the answers with me.

    Thanks,
