My wish list would be that there are some variation on the CAPTCHA image that is used. For instance my preference would be all one colour or shaded of black to grey to white.
Thanks for the very fast support. May have to move all my contact forms over as there is a caching bug with Contact 7 – CAPTCHA. Have pinpointed it to turning off WP Jetpack Photon.

Those parameters that you are referring to are added by the WP Jetpack Photon caching tool where WP caches your images and serve them from their super-fast network.
This is the CAPTCHA image with WP Jetpack Photon deactivated:

http://www.art-treasures-gallery.com/contact-art-treasures-gallery/I was struggling to work out why that contact form appeared to work and why all the others CAPTCHA images on my other sites were caching.
For Art Treasures Gallery I turned off Photon as the WP authors have been outspoken about free speech in China and China has hit back by blocking anything associated with WP servers, so to have the images on the Art Treasures Gallery website visible in China I had to uncouple all the tools that are linked to WP servers. @raamdev I see nothing ZenCache-specific here. This really seems to be two issues with CF7.
Not setting DONOTCACHEPAGE on AJAX responses that deliver dynamic content.
Not calling nocache_headers() on AJAX responses that deliver dynamic content.Those are both educated guesses. I have not spent enough time with that plugin to say absolutely for sure. Further investigation on their part would be suggested.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact form 7 no longer workingI been having the exact same issue. For me its caused as by caching tool ZenCache. If I turn off ZenCache then Contact7 Form works.
I’ve been using ZenCache and Contact7 Form for years!
I have tracked the issue down to the fact that the Captcha image, which is dynmaic, is being cached which means that the when you try and input the values in the form, you get an error message as the Captcha pair values are out of sych.

Two which are dormant/test sites have the line you requested.

Please advise if I need to add it in manually to all the wp-config files?

I am having the same issue. Looking forward to fix. It all was working.
For the contact form I use: Contact Form 7 Version 4.2 matched with Really Simple CAPTCHA Version 1.8.0.1.
It stopped working and I was getting a validation error. I think the issue is that the CAPTCHA image is being cached – hence the validation error.
I’ve got the contact form working again:

* WP Edit – Version 3.2
* WP Retina 2x – Version 3.3.6 (Other forums suggested Retina 2 was the issue but deactivating them didn’t fix my Contact7 problem)
* ZenCache Version 150409It all used to work. The only addition in recent weeks was the addition of WP Edit & WP Retina 2x which were recommended installs by the Weaver Xtreme template designers. So they were the first things I deactivated.
ZenCache and its predecessor have been running since the site was set up and used to work. Seem its a recent update that has changed someting.

As soon as I enable ZenCache the Really Simple CAPTCHA image caches if your reload page so you get a validation error as the two part are the CAPTCHA code the generated and input are out of synch.
The odd thing is they used to work nicely togther. This is something new that has happened.

Have had to deactivate:
WP Edit Version 3.2
WP Retina 2x Version 3.3.6
ZenCache Version 150409I noticed that if I refreshed the page that the captcha image was not updating which is why I then went and deactivated ZenCache too.
Any ideas?
