Interesting plugin. Especially the way to use the bulk assignment.
I found another plugin Enhanced Media Library which is particularly good when adding images to a post or gallery.
This plugin is considering adding a function to do bulk changes.Looks like both plugins are working on the same solution from different approaches.
Wondering which will be first ;-).

Just had a look into the plugin you suggested. It looks promising and does allow for bulk manage the categories to be assigned to media.However, it is lacking the option to use the categories when adding an image to a post or gallery.
Seems both plugins have complimentary functionality. Wondering which one will deliver first 😉
