    Hello,

Thank you for your question! I am working on bulk edit for media library right now. The solution expected late November or early December, but exactly bulk edit feature will be a premium add-on for this plugin.

Great thanks Nadia – I look forward to seeing it soon.

Try Media Library Assistant. Has bulk image editing built in already. I think that the Enhanced Media Library is nice though in the sense of simplicity and certain functionality. It would be interesting to see how the premium features match up. Keep up the good work.

@futurecar, thank you for your feedback! Next free version of the plugin contains improvements and new features as well. Only bulk edit is planned to be premium feature so far.

Ah, *THE* single feature I need is premium. Bummer.

@rulatir – you can bulk categorize your media files with this plugin: Media Library Categories. The developer is great…

@webbistro – I like your plugin too, but it wasn’t doing what I really needed. Look forward to seeing where it goes though…

Just had a look into the plugin you suggested. It looks promising and does allow for bulk manage the categories to be assigned to media.

However, it is lacking the option to use the categories when adding an image to a post or gallery.

Seems both plugins have complimentary functionality. Wondering which one will deliver first 😉

    Hello all,

Thank you for your kind words and patience!

Sorry, I had some circumstances in my life that slowed me down with the plugin recently. But no worries, I will definitely develop EML, I have some grandiose planes as for it 🙂 I think next week we will have a big update.

I like Media Library Categories. Lightweight, simple and clean. Seems to be a great solution for those who need default post categories to organize images. But I initially planed much deeper functionality for EML. I think the plugins will perfectly co-exist in their niches.

Since it took me too long to wait for this bulk functionality, I implemented it myself.

Anyone interested, just let me know…
