In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Plugin disables by it selfHi there,
This sound like a potencial plugin conflict with the Worker plugin. Have you tried to temporarily deactivate all plugins except the Worker plugin?
Also, was this happening before as well or it started recently? Was any plugin installed recently that could lead to this?
Kindly.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Connecting .club domainHi there,
Sorry for the late reply.
When located in the ManageWP dashboard, and upon adding the website type the complete URL in the mentioned field, and when asked to enter the connection key, try to force refresh it. In order to force refresh it, when you are in the wp-admin area type the following line after the plugins.php when located on the installed plugins page:
?mwp_force_key_refresh=1&worker_connections=1
A new window will appear giving the new connection key which you can use to add the website.
In case this doesn’t work, I must suggest you to open a support ticket by sending email to helpdesk@managewp.com and include as much details as you can, and our collegues will take a closer look at the issue.
Kind regards.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Connection Management MissingHey there,
In the middle of reading your replies I thought that it might be some plugin conflict, because nothing else seems to make sense for this behavour.
The next course of action would be to temporarily dissable all plugin, get to the Connection Management and then enable plugins one by one, which you evidentially already done.
Have you confirmed that the cause of this is Plugins Page Cleanup when activated?
You might need to find an alternative to this plugin, I believe that WP Optimize might be a good replacement.
Kindly.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Connection Management MissingHello Richard,
David here.
On both screenshots you provided, I can see “Connection Management” except that on the second it is located beneath the plugins name instead of in the extension version of the plugin. Have you tried to deactivate and delete the Worker plugin, clear the website cache and install it again to see if it’s not some caching issue?
Let me know how it goes.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] thumbnailsHey again,
Most probably it’s due to the sites, more precisely with the first contentful image. We use Chrome Headless for this feature and we wait 0.5 seconds after the website has loaded to grab the thumbnail. This means that if your website doesn’t load in that 0.5 seconds, or if some elements don’t load, we will pick up what is on the website at the 0.5 second mark. I have just checked the green-bati.fr and it shows 2.3 seconds which exceeds the 0.5 second mark.
When the first contentful image is being loaded under that mark the thumbnail will load normally.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] sites disconnectingHi there,
Sorry for the long awaited reply from us.
It appears so that enabling debug log and leaving like that wouldn’t be the best course of action expecially if the site is live. This also could be due to some plugin confict, meaning that anothe plugin is not fully compatible with the Worker plugin. Therefore, you might need to temporarily disable all plugin, except Worker and see if the connection will be established. If that happens, activate other plugin one by one until determining the cause for disconnection. This is the best way of finding the culprit in these situations.
Kindly.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] PHP 8.1 deprecatedHello there,
Our plugin should be fully compatible with PHP 8.0 and above. The user’s issues in the past were usually resolved by clearing the worker entries in the database as they were cached.
The reason why this happens, in general, is that, for some reason, the Worker plugin’s entries (starting with “mwp_”) in the database’s wp-options table get written differently than expected.
It appears that some caching functionalities, such as perhaps the “Object Cache” or any cache related to Redis or on the server, may have caused the “mwp_” entries to be populated with the wrong format in the wp-options database table.
If you are willing to try some steps in order to be running the higher PHP version than 7.4, here’s what you can do:
– Delete the Worker plugin from this site
– Go to wp-content/mu-plugins folder and see if there’s a 0-worker.php under there – it it’s there, delete it
– Go to the database and please make a manual backup (export it)
– Search for entries that start with mwp_ in the wp_options table
– Delete the entries
– Clear any cache that you may have on your website and on the server
– Reinstall the Worker pluginHere’s a screenshot of how you can search for the tables:

Once you’ve removed all entries, please clear your website’s cache and re-install the Worker plugin again.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Error 404 with WP Hide & Security EnhancerHi,
It is quite possible that the WP Hide &Security Enhancer plugin conflicts with the Worker plugin and that it’s causing issues here. A couple of reports on this subject were submitted in the past. Could you please try and temporarily deactivate the plugin and then try to access the wp-admin from the ManageWP dashboard?
In case this works, I’m afraid you will have to find an alternative for this plugin to be able to continue with your work.Kindly.
