I tried “Force HTTPS srcset” earlier today but it has not been updated for a year and says it is compatible up to 4.4

There is other things that are missing as well i.e.: font, font size, letter colour, highlight colour. Perhaps it was not a good idea to merge TinyMCE with the WP Core files.

This is my situation as well. Using expert settings I can manually force a backup. But setting a backup schedule does not work for me.
