In reply to: Homepage, single post assistYes and he won’t take the time to help with it “due to it will take a lot of time to convert it from HTML/CSS to WordPress.”
I just used the default sixteen homepage and modified it to work a bit, but then I have to add in the comments template into it.

In reply to: Homepage, single post assistI removed that attempt to have some social media options, that I will handle another way. If you view it now you will see what I mean compared to the links that I have provided of what the template that I bought looks like. Nothing alike lol I don’t know how the the_content() or the_excerpt() work fully.
Hopefully you can help and let me know what I am missing.

In reply to: how to change domain name – shared hosting(before the site screwed up)
I would suggest that you make sure your database and files are correct when you move them or you will have broken images, links, etc.
Are you familiar with FTP? If then simply login and grab all the files then drag and drop them on to the folder location you to move them to.
IF not then you will want to hire someone to help move them but first you will need to create them an FTP account so you can remove it once they are done.Hopefully that helps and gives you a good starting point.

In reply to: how to change domain name – shared hostingActually there is an easier way really, the only thing you need to do is really go into the database your using and update the URL location reflect the real location. All you will need to do then is simply go in with FTP and move the files to the real location and it will grab the database and show everything as tho you never had to use another plugin for the content. Simple and easier then grabbing a plugin and trying to double your space usage really.

In reply to: Can't loginI had softaculous investigate it and then also complained to the host provider as well and it seems that the new version of Softaculous + Chrome are the main issues, however im going to test it in another browser right now. If that fixes it then I will report it softaculous as a huge bug cause I don’t want to 2 browsers just to do my work hell even do anything in 2 browsers is not what I want to do really.
Thanks, will update once I have tested it out in Firefox.

In reply to: Can't loginThat’s the thing, I have also gone with the basic username and password too.. admin : pass and that still doesn’t work. I have tried both DCTS and dcts then a password like Password, password (not that exact word but the formatting) and still can’t get in.
I went with a previous simple password and nothing still. All types aren’t working, whether it’s done through softaculous or done manually, everything is smooth until I try to login at http://news.domain.com/wp-admin/ (only for reference) and it just won’t accept the username password.
I have also tried to go to into the phpmyadmin and manually change the password to something simple like wifesname and save it as MD5, but still can’t login. Cleared cache and cookies, nothing at all.

In reply to: Can't loginit allows me to create the whole process and create the account, everything is fine and when I click the login to admin part that’s when it doesn’t let me in.
the hosting I have at the moment is through Hostwired.

In reply to: Can't loginReally? I don’t see how.. If you read what I have I put then you would see that I have done the softaculous AND also removed it then did a manual install with me making the database and also uploading them through FTP.
I have gone through and made sure that the DB was removed and all files. I have the same issue with ALL version it seems. Guessing at this point it’s the hosting provider?

In reply to: Can't loginYeah I had it delete the database, then I created a new database as well. Nothing is working at all, it seems the 4.5.2 is totally screwed to point it bluntly.
I just did the new install on 4.5.2 and I get the same error, plus changing it with softaculous or even a manual install won’t work. I think they broke something in their update.
