In reply to: [Mollie Payments for WooCommerce] Not good for Credit CardsHello Allgrass,
Thank you for your feedback. It seems that your review is for the Mollie service itself, and not specifically for this plugin. So I took the time to contact Mollie and ask about this.
It seems you experienced a delay in getting payments by credit card into your bank account. Mollie explained that credit card payments indeed have a delay of at least 5 days (in the worst case this can be 8 days) before they can be transferred to your bank account. They will be visible in your Mollie account immediately, and the status for the order will be updated within minutes. It’s just the transfer from Mollie to your bank account that takes longer.
There are a few reasons for this:
– Mollie get’s the funds that your customers pay from the credit card companies, but most credit card companies don’t wire them instantly, so there is already a delay. Mollie knows that the payment is succesfull very fast, but doesn’t get the actual money immediately.
– Mollie would like to solve this by pre-financing the payments (and paying you out immediately) but this is not allowed by the same credit card companies.
– To make sure you do not get immediate charge backs when there is fraud, but in your case I don’t think this was the issue. This article explains payout’s in detail:
https://help.mollie.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000010065-When-does-Mollie-payout-If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know and I will sort it out for you.
I’m sorry that this has caused you inconvenience. I understand that for some businesses it’s essential to get funds into a bank account as soon as possible. Mollie is constantly trying to negotiate better terms with it’s partners (credit card companies etc), so this can continue to improve.
Kind regards
David@dreampress – I’m not sure you are experiencing the same issue, but please email me on mollie@paytium.nl and we will get it sorted asap!
Hi lightfight,
Thank you for your patience!
If the invoice is made and processed outside of WordPress, it probably does not communicate back to the webhook in the WordPress site. That is needed to update the status.
Just to be sure: users place an order in WooCommerce, and then via an integration an automatic invoice and payment link is sent to the user? What software are you using for the invoices?
Or is it only possible to change the status if the customer is directly linked from woocommerce to mollie and not with a payment link afterwards?
Probably, but I’ll know for sure once you answered my other questions.
Kind regards
DavidThank you!
Hi Joe
That’s correct, it has always been like that. I am probably going to change it, as this makes more sense:
https://github.com/davdebcom/post-snippets/issues/91What do you think about the suggestion on the above page?
Kind regards
DavidDank je wel!
Great!
Where should I look? There are multiple images.
Did you check the PHP checkbox?

In reply to: [Post Snippets - Custom WordPress Code Snippets Customizer] RedirectsHi
Can you try the attached version?
http://take.ms/NZAE9If that still gives a white page, please enable the error reporting (WP DEBUG) and let me know if you see an error. That will help me too understand what’s going on.
Kind regards
DavidThank you! I’ll review it the beginning of september.
Will do!
It will take some more time to investigate this with Mollie in the Mollie API PHP client. So I reverted the changes. Please update to 4.0.2 which I just released. Also see:
