I figured out the issue and am back to normal. I had selected a category for the slider. When I put it back to the “choose’ default, it fixed it.Forum: Themes and Templates

Thanks for looking. There are only two widget areas and I tried them. And this has an “exclusive options” instead which seems better but it’s not in there either.
