UPDATE:
I figured out the issue and am back to normal. I had selected a category for the slider. When I put it back to the “choose’ default, it fixed it.
hi did you manage to get your own pic on the slider without it going narrow ive done the same and my pic has gone narrow in the silider

Hi! I’m having the same problem with my friend’s website. If you have suggestions on how to help resolve the issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
I’ve tried adjusting the size of the picture and that doesn’t seem to help. Each time just show a sliver and words.

The recommended size for the slider image is 1900x550px. Using images with this size will have the best result. Try using it. If you still have problem please let us know.

Hello, I am having this problem as well. I’ve created a post and inserted only a 1900 x 550 pixel jpg image, then went to theme options and changed the first slide to the single post: “Main Slider” which is the title of the post I created. When I look at the image on the site I only see a sliver of the image…Is there another setting I’m not seeing that should be clicked or not clicked?

Did you insert the image in the content area of the slider post ? The Slider image should be set as the featured image via ‘set featured image’ option.
