Hi again @ahcan,
I even prepared a YouTube video. I was going to add it on YouTube, but the lack of help clearly upset me.
One of my colleagues shared that video with me today, thank you so much for that.
I saw in that thread that changing the Newsletter Task Scheduler solved te issue for you so I am closing this thread now.
Thanks for your support.
Cheers!
Hi again Nigel,
Wow, that’s very odd indeed. I have tried to reproduce it on my own site and I can’t.
Are there any differences between your staging and live sites? I am asking because the only thing I can think of is some kind of conflict only present on your live site.
I hope this helps!
Cheers

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Bad pluginOlá @biscoitosocial 👋🏽,
Oh, I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with our plugin.
I have checked the URL of your site in our system and unfortunately, we aren’t able to approve your plan as the content of your site is listed in the prohibited content section of our anti-spam policy MailPoet Sending Service policy.
You are still welcome to use the MailPoet plugin but you’d have to select a third-party sending method (Other) in MailPoet > Settings > The Send With Tab.
If you’d like to access our Premium features and/or have more than 1,000 subscribers, you can subscribe to a Creator plan at https://account.mailpoet.com and send your emails with your own sending method.
Cheers!
Hi again,
You can use https://snipboard.io/ for sharing screenshots — please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this thread.
Are all 12 subscribers have Subscribed status on the list connected to this Post Notification email?
And please review that question too, as it will allow us to understand the issue better.
Cheers
Hi there @bholla68 👋🏽!
Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!
I think that what you experienced in your first tests is the expected. Let me try to explain it.
So, when creating a Post Notification, all the posts you see in the editor are going to be sent in the first email.
Then you did this:
added a test post (with a back-dated publish date to avoid it appearing on the home page) to see if it would send immediately and it hasn’t sent.
But editing a previous post won’t trigger the email it has to be a new one.
So, my recommendation is to:
- Modify the Automatic Latest Content Widget so that it only displays one post
- Wait until you publish a new real post and see if it gets sent. For what you have shared before I think it will be sent.
I am leaving the thread open so that you can keep us posted.
Cheers!

We are using a child Storefront theme. Is there a way to adjust the filter or hook values for this to reposition above the checkout button?
I am curious to understand this better. Could you please share a screenshot of your checkout page with us?
Cheers!
Hi there 👋🏽!

Pop-up/Slider won’t show on listing pages such as Blogs, Archives, etc.
You can find out more details here: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/363-how-to-create-a-pop-up-slider-form#popup-doesnt-work
If you are trying to add it to a page like that you could choose a different type of pop up form or use one of the compatible integrations listed here like Holler BoxÂ

“Today 7:30pm.” But then when I click on the Status to view details, it says the email was already sent.
Oh, that’s odd. Could you please share a screenshot so that we can understand this better?
PHP version shouldn’t be an issue because while we recommend upgradig to PHP 8.1 MailPoet is compatible with PHP version 7.4 or higher.Â

Hi there 👋🏽!
Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!
The people never subscribed to anything, therefore, they never unsubscribed.
That is the expected behavior when the
Subscribe WooCommerce customer listas explained here:If you uncheck this option, the users will remain added to the WooCommerce Customers list, however, they will be marked as “Unsubscribed”.
The fact that this app imported them without my permission raises some serious privacy concerns.
Please note that the users are not added anywhere, MailPoet doesn’t have any servers where we receive information from your lists.
I hope this helps!
Cheers!
Hi there @nekojonez 👋🏽!
Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!
how do I show x-amount of latest posts of a certain category?
I am not sure if I am 100% getting the question, so please feel free to reply back to this thread.
If I am getting it right you would like to create a Post Notification type of email which includes the 8 latest posts of a certain category.
If you create a Post Notification Email and set it to send the latest 8 posts of a certain category it will work the first time. But then , if you just create a new event, it won’t display again the last 8 events… it will only display the last one created (because the others have already been sent).
Alternatively, you could create a regular newsletter and manually select the posts that you want to include.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Cheers!
Hi there 👋🏽!

if we could create a colour palette according to the branding specifications. I would love to do this via code.
Yes, there are plans to implement this. The team is going to be working in the Editor during 2024 and this is one of the areas they plan to improve.
In the meantime, this might be possible with some custom code. If you need help with custom code, you can reach out to someone from Codeable: https://codeable.io (affiliate link).

I don’t know why Mailpoet haven’t posted this themselves but there is a CLI tool for running migrations hidden in the plugin files.Â
This is interesting. I have just shared this with the MailPoet developers so that they can study it. We’ll document the workaround in our knowledgebase if they find it useful.
Cheers and thank you so much for contributing!
Hi @ektagon 👋🏽,
Thanks for publishing the advice. I can confirm that we have reported the issue to the MailPoet developers and also that updating to 4.40.0 fixes it.
I am marking the topic as resolved now.
