Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: adsense codeHi WPyogi,
I have been looking through the plugins and found several. One popped up called google adsense dashboard plugin. I have read through the other ones but that seemed reasonable. However, when I activated it, it just got complicated. I finally got so frustrated I went for a walk. Any how I will try again shortly.I really appreciate it that you took the time to send me in the right direction. Thanks so much, WPyogi.

In reply to: Requesting Plugin Recommendations PleaseThanks so much Andrew. Sorry to take so long to answer. From some reading up and research, MarketPress does seem to be a good option. It seems to have a lot more options even in the free plugin version. I guess the best way is to test it.

In reply to: Requesting Plugin Recommendations PleaseHello Phillip. Thank you for your recommendations. I had read the woocommerce stuff and it seemed like a lot of different add-in were necessary.
Are you saying to use a woocommerce theme instead of a WP theme? It looks like you are saying that I would also have to get the woocommerce theme, then get the woocommerce itself then add a wwootiq theme? Is that what you are saying?
Sorry I didn’t quite understand.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: SEO Ultimate file editor code problem? Is this question posted in the correct forum? Can anyone answer this or should I move it to the hacks forum?
Pardon me. I will post it elsewhere.
Where the error says
it should show ‘XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.’
is the little ‘ sign at the beginning and end supposed to be there? When I clicked the link in the post I just made it went to a blank page with that wording on it. The only difference I can see is the little ‘ ‘ are missing at the beginning and end of the sentence. Does that make a difference?Hi I am having a problem with this jetpack also. Can you help me? I shifted a doamin of mine to bluehost. Then installed wp. Got the login admin credentials then logged in. got to the page that says “link your site to wordpress .com to install jetpack. The same page Joseph is showing. When I click the link account to wordpress.com is says – You just got an error that should never happen. Then it says – “Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://creationnorth.com/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.” I went to bluehost becaue they are the server, but they said they don’t know what that is, and they thought I should come here to get it answered. How can I fix this? I have other sites on WP two of them I had loaded at bluehost and had no issues with it. I started the bluehost account with http://daisyleebeacon.com then added http://daisysproducts.com as an addon domain. There were no problems adding the jetpack to either one. Then I set the nservers for http://creationnorth.com to bluehost. It transferred with site intact – unfortunately an older wp that I couldn’t get jetpack on. So i removed the wp installation for that site through my bluehost cpanel. Then installed a new version of wp to that site through bluehost cpanel. It did all the stuff and send me the logins, etc. But when i tried to add jetpack i got stopped there. With the error problem. Can you help me with this?
