There seemed to be two installations of the blog and the tech support at my web host had me delete one and I think that might have been the right one. In my fantastico folder it says “Only manual upgrade possible.” When I look in the sql folder it’s not listed. I’m afraid they may be gone

It seems to me that there are some files in WP that are pointing to iblognewyork.com, the expired domain so I can’t access it. The domain was a subdirectory of my main one.

I found the feed url but I have two years worth of posts I’d like to recover. (I know. I’m an idiot to not think about this before I let the domain expire)

In reply to: Help!! domain name change, can’t log inThanks. I did the phpadmin, but all I was able to get was the login page and when i logged in, another blank page.
In the wp-config file, should I use the cybernianyc.com domain or the blogname domain?
I should mention that the domain is an add on domain and the tech at my webhost said it should exist as a separate domain not affiliated with the primary domain.
The good news is the blog is back up, so we’re half way there.
