In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Exit notifier not workingNOTE: When copy/pasting from a webpage, smart quotes commonly get substituted for regular old quotes. The easiest way I’ve found to fix it is to copy/paste to a basic text editor, then copy/paste from there to the field in your site.
Below, I’ve taken out the https:// and the callto:// protocol parts of the URL. I need to document that better on the settings page. Try this:
a[href*="//"]:not([href*="fsucu.org"], [href*="fsucuebranch.org/ISuite5/Features/Auth/MFA/Default.aspx"], [href*="apstp.pscu.com/AP/APCardholder/pages/dsologin?clientId=5455&siteFlag=true"], [href*="virtuoso.fi-apps.com/webkit/default.aspx?fiToken=UNV"], [href*="fsucuedocs.org/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fdefault.aspx"], [href*="fsucuchat.org/LiveChat/chat.php"], [href*="18774637828"],[href*="app.loanspq.com/xa/xpressApp.aspx?lenderref=Floridascu070816&type=1"],[href*="fsucuebranch.org/ISuite5/Features/Auth/MFA/Default.aspx"], [href*="18774637828"], [href*="18006547728"], [href*="18006547728"], [href*="18502244960"], [href*="8502244960"], [href*="18004497728"], [href*="18506922500"], [href*="18505843002"], [href*="18883285767"], [href*="18007551030"], [href*="18778752923"], [href*="fsucuebranch2.org"])Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Exit notifier not workingSorry to take so long to get back to you! Your jQuery selector syntax is broken. Try removing the last comma and closing the “not(” at the end of the string with a right parenthesis.

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Is there a way to expand the target URL in the textNot at the moment, but that shouldn’t be too hard to add. I’ll see about getting this one in the next version too. Great ideas! Thank you!

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Feature request: timeout countdownThat’s a great idea, Steve. I’ll see about adding that to the next version. I need to get the info updated for 4.9 anyway.

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Plugin disables offsite urls?@card-one-concepts: So sorry! Hope your other solution works well for you.
@dontehenley: Great! Glad it worked out for you.
Both of you let me know if I can be of any further help!

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Plugin disables offsite urls?It looks like the text boxes defining those values on the settings page are empty. I’d be glad to look at it directly if you want. You’ll just need to make me an admin account on that test site.

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Plugin disables offsite urls?@card-one-concepts: I’m so sorry! I somehow overlooked the link you included when I originally read your entry. It seems that my plugin is not currently enabled. Can you enable Exit Notifier for me so I can take a look at the javascript console? If you’d like we can coordinate a time so that it’s not messing with the site in the meantime…

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Plugin disables offsite urls? Thanks for the URL! The javascript console is saying that the background color is invalid. Please go to the Display tab in Exit Notifier Settings and select White, save, and then try again. After that, if it’s working, you should be able to choose whichever setting you like. Let me know if that works for you!

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Plugin disables offsite urls?Sorry for the late response, was at a conference all day.
The most common reason for that would be an error in the custom jQuery selector. Double check that by disabling the custom selector if you’re using it. If you’re not using it or if that doesn’t change anything, please give me the URL of your site here or via direct email and I’ll take a look.

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Pop up displayed after opening the linkSure thing! One more question: Are you using the free version or Pro?

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Pop up displayed after opening the linkI’ll look into that. My guess is that the ithemes plugin changes the links, which conflicts with how I make the pop-up apply. Give me a few days to look into the interaction and I’ll see if there’s any way to make the two behave. Thanks so much for letting me know about another plugin that conflicts with mine! It’s valuable information to have on hand for situations like yours. I’ll be back in touch soon!

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Pop up displayed after opening the linkHi, @blakshmi. Are you using the Monsterinsights plugin? It sounds like a case of another plugin doing the same thing mine is doing, and changing the click behaviour on particular links. Try disabling plugins one at a time (starting with Monsterinsights if it’s installed…) to see when the behaviour goes back to normal. Once you know which plugin is conflicting, please tell me. If you don’t find a conflict, let me know that too.

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Attempting to use with a generated URLOk, well, I’ve dug into how your site is implementing the search on the main page, and it looks like the WPS WooCommerce Search plugin is where that code is from. Since it’s not a public plugin, we’d have to work with the authors of that plugin to make any changes. If you’d like to contact them, I’ll gladly work with them on changes if they are willing. Sorry I can’t be of more assistance, but it’s really out of my reach. Let me know if there’s more I can do for you, and may you heal quickly!

In reply to: [Exit Notifier] Not fully workingSounds like a CSS issue. Can you send me a link to the site so I can see what’s happening? If you’d prefer, you can send it via email to wpplugins@cvstech.com.
