In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Plugin crashed site when updated on 4.1Hi Carlos,
Once you’ve FTP’d into your server you’ll want to navigate to your WordPress install folder. From there the path to the plugin will something like
/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/.You’ll want to delete the entire
/backupwordpressdirectory.Cheers,

Thanks for reaching out.
This is a known issue and has been fixed, the patch will go up in the next plugin update.

Thanks for getting in touch,
This is a known issue and has been fixed, though the patch hasn’t been released yet.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Permission deniedHi Yuhani,
So this error basically means the ZIP command is installed on your server, but PHP doesn’t have the correct permissions to use it, and so falls back to using ZipArchive.
The backups probably aren’t failing, but you’re still getting a nasty error message.
We’ll be releasing a patch to suppress the error, and BackUpWordPress will just silently fallback to ZipArchive.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] BackUpWordPress detected issuesHi Anne,
Thanks for your patience.
Could you Enable Support though the BackUpWordPress page and drop me a message through there?
Could you confirm that the backup is definitely not completing despite the error? As not all 500 internal server errors are causing backups to actually fail.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] CloudFlare errorHi Robert,
Could you enable support and we can debug the issue there.
Is the backup definitely not being created? Not all 500 errors end in a failed backup so it would be good to know.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Where is the database file in the complete backupHi Bruce,
Thanks for reaching out.
So if you have a ‘complete’ ZIP. If you download the ZIP and open it up, there should be a .SQL file in the root.
Can you check that for me and let me know?
Cheers,
