It seems that the search bar in the site whiteribbongifts.co.uk was added with Elementor. I would recommend your client to contact them directly about plurals search support here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/
If it’s not supported, there’s alternative search extensions like Advanced Woo Search that supports both plurals and synonyms search.

That option in the Admin panel doesn’t seem to be from WooCommerce, it’s probably related to another plugin. Can you please send us a full screenshot, so we can confirm?
You can also send us your site system report, so we can get a better understanding of your setup. You can find it via

I agree with you that it’s probably a conflict with another plugin since you can’t replicate the same on the staging site.
If you can’t perform a conflict test, can you please try to install WP Crontrol Plugin?
If a plugin is performing any task then you will be able to identify it with this plugin.

The categories you mentioned are displayed in a Breadcrumb. It looks like there’s an additional plugin or even the theme you’re using that’s displaying the additional breadcrumb. The best way to determine is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Check if the shipping fee is being applied
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each until you find the one causing conflict.
