as we’ve been making these fixes we have also proactively looking for more ways we can improve security throughout the plugin. There are additional improvements in v1.6.11.2 which we just released. I’d recommend updating to that version when you get a chance
Thanks,
NathanHi @singed68 we’ve released several of the security fixes, so the code itself is in v1.6.11.0 but the “vulnerability scan” notice won’t go away until the security companies officially review and approve our fix. We unfortunately don’t have any control over how quickly they respond to us.
Hopefully they will be marking the issues resolved within the next few days and you’ll see the notice disappear. If there are any additional security adjustments, we’ll do a follow-up release soon.
Thanks for your patience, and please let us know when you see the vulnerability notice go away on your side!
NathanHi @dropshot thanks for getting in touch, we are in active communication with WordFence (have had no communication from the Patchstack team). We have a fix in progress and should have the warning removed as soon as we receive confirmation from the WordFence team, but that depends on their response time.
We actively work on all security notices we receive and are committed to keeping the plugin updated and secure. Please update to new versions as soon as you see them available
Hi Alex, I tried to go to your site but just get a spinning gear icon only. From the error message, it looks like your site has a CSP (content security policy) in place. This often gets put in place by a CDN layer like Cloudflare. There should be ways to allow it to embed iframes without this warning (you could disable/adjust the policy)
Setting
X-Frame-OptionstoSAMEORIGINwould help if it’s set toDENYand/or
Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors 'self'If those are already set, the root issue may have to do with differing domains. Have you recently changed/migrated domains? Or switched from HTTP to HTTPS or something like that? If so, I’d just ensure that your URL is identical throughout your database and also in your wp-config.php settings.
Please let us know how it goes, this is definitely resolvable but needs to be adjusted at the CDN/security/config layer, not any settings within the plugin itself.
Thanks,
Nathan@sarahwnyc what version of WP is this running on? Now I’m wondering if it’s an issue with the newest release of WordPress. Is there anything else in common between your sites? hosting maybe?
Hey @sarahwnyc! That sounds odd, do you have it installed on other sites where it’s working normally? Trying to figure out if this is something global/universal or something site-specific. How many plugins are installed on the site you’re trying to run it on (where you’re trying to mark 3 as required)?
Hi @pee82 we have a number of CSS snippets available here: https://wpdrawattention.com/guides/styling-with-css/ but to change the layout from left to right requires some changes to the HTML as well (which we don’t have an easy way to accomplish with a code snippet).
We offer 6 different layout options in the Pro version (including one that puts the info area on the right).
Please let us know if you have any other questions!

In reply to: [Plugin Detective - Troubleshooting Conflicts] White screen mid-investigation@imjeanneus yes, technically you can let Plugin Detective be in the middle of a step for many hours. And then when it happens, you can click “it’s broken”, so you could afford to be patient waiting for the problem to materialize on staging
Plugin Detective also randomly selects the groups of plugins to try, so sometimes you get lucky when trying it 2 or 3 times.
Best of luck!

In reply to: [Plugin Detective - Troubleshooting Conflicts] White screen mid-investigationHi @imjeanneus it sounds like you might have an intermittent problem (or one only triggered during updates or something) which can be the hardest thing to troubleshoot. If it’s a whitescreen, generally you should be clicking the “it’s broken” step in Plugin Detective. All that said, Plugin Detective is a helpful tool but with intermittent problems or those that only appear in very specific combinations, it may not be able to figure it out. Hope that helps, SPM is on WPEngine so I’m assuming you’re hosted there. You could clone to a staging site and run Plugin Detective (and other experiments) there?
PS. it’s a very fast response, but I’m not a bot, you just happened to catch me right as I was on wp.org 🙂
Thanks @jdcohan we appreciate your kind words 🙂
Hi @lemoustic we have recently been working on our integration Polylang. There have been some challenges to making the translation work with our interactive image maps, but we’ve been able to work through them and should have a guide posted on our site in the coming weeks showing how to use Polylang with Draw Attention free 🙂
Hi @lionelipacs thanks for getting in touch. Our custom capabilities with the Members plugin should let you control who can edit settings, who can edit appointment types, and who can manage the list of appointments. Some screenshots and details here: https://simplyscheduleappointments.com/guides/using-members-plugin/#setting-the-role-permissions
In our basic edition, we don’t really have a concept of individual users. But the business edition does have a built-in role for “Team Member” which allows someone to log in and see only the appointments assigned to them. They can also manage their working hours and connect a Google Calendar so that their personal calendar events aren’t booked over. Editing of the appointment types is global though, so you’d need to set up a global appointment type like “Sales Call” and then assign team members to it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Nathan
Hi @jdcohan, yes canceled appointments can be deleted by accessing the “three dots menu” when looking at the details of the appointment. We have a screenshot and some more details here: https://ssappts.com/guides/changing-booked-appointments/#appointment-details-page
Please let us know if you have any other questions!

In reply to: [Simple Client Dashboard] Errors after activatingThank you @hakonzen I always intended to come back to this plugin but it took me way longer than I’d intended. I’m also happy to be bringing it up to date and improving it again 🙂
