In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [fixed] – Broken from upgradingHmmm, I installed qTranslate plus and implemented the gallery the way you suggested on my development server and it seemed to work OK, other than scrolling through about 20 PHP errors from the qTranslate plugin (which could be the problem right there).
One area it could break is their could have been a javascript error on the page. Do you have a development server for your website where you could reactivate the slideshow and see if there’s a javascript error on the page? (right click-> Inspect Element -> Click the Console Tab) – Look for red errors that could make the slideshow not load.

I’d hate to have it so you can’t get the latest additions since I’ve recently added the feature where you can create a custom gallery from featured images of custom post types, and I’ve got more planned.
Are you using a custom Satellite gallery or are you pulling in the gallery from the WordPress gallery of a post? – want to make sure this issue isn’t widespread.

You’re the first person that has mentioned any problem with the 2.3 upgrade and if there is a major conflict happening, which for you it sounds like there is, I certainly need to know about it! I put some major updates in to now have the plugin work with Custom Post Types, but there shouldn’t be anything conflicting with prior setups.
Is it showing any errors on your page? Or just disappearing entirely? Do you see the admin area of Satellite? It sounds like you probably didn’t bother disabling other plugins to find out if there’s a particular plugin conflict, but that would be the next step.
I’d also try resaving your gallery that you’re trying to display, and also clicking “Reset to Defaults” on the configuration page may help.
Please let me know if you attempt any fixes!

Support is best accessed through the contact form on his website. It’s actually his ‘Quote’ tool, but questions are answered regardless of if you’re free or premium.
