    Current Satellite Version: 2.3

This plugin used to work fine. This morning my dashboard showed Version 2.3 was available. I went ahead to upgrade it but I should not have. The gallery has simply disappeared from my site. The plugin is there, it can be deactivated and re-activated, the shortcode is inserted when the page is being edited but the gallery is not displayed and there is not even a single reference to it in the HTML source.

It seems to be just another annoying plugin that is somehow tied to something and dies from an upgrade.

First off, thank you for posting. You’re the first person that has mentioned any problem with the 2.3 upgrade and if there is a major conflict happening, which for you it sounds like there is, I certainly need to know about it! I put some major updates in to now have the plugin work with Custom Post Types, but there shouldn’t be anything conflicting with prior setups.

Is it showing any errors on your page? Or just disappearing entirely? Do you see the admin area of Satellite? It sounds like you probably didn’t bother disabling other plugins to find out if there’s a particular plugin conflict, but that would be the next step.

I’d also try resaving your gallery that you’re trying to display, and also clicking “Reset to Defaults” on the configuration page may help.

Please let me know if you attempt any fixes!
